Teaming with Dan was an excellent experience with a tradesman who takes pride in his work and responsibility for successful outcomes. We had good communication up front and follow through on our requests for information. If he said he’d call 30 minutes before arrival, then he called 30 minutes before arrival. Sadly, this high level of service is not typical of all contractors and the reason Heeringa Electrical has such great value.

Great service and excellent work. Would recommend this electrician to everyone. Punctual, communicative, and exactly what we needed. Looking forward to having my other electrical work done by Dan.

Working with Dan was probably the best experience I have had with a contractor ever. Returned my call right away. Showed up on time. He got to work and completed my list quickly. He was friendly, and helpful answering my questions. Wow. Just wow.

Very well. Dan and his partner worked in some of the worst weather, rain, hail, etc. to get the job done. Dan works through problems and explains along the way what can and can't be done and figures out the best way to accomplish what he has been asked to do. Very polite. Returns calls promptly. I had 2 bids for my electrical upgrades; Heeringa's price was higher.  However, as I researched the bidders, I found good reviews about Heeringa Electrical Service.  When I met with Dan Heeringa, he took the time and effort to understand my plans for the project, and gave his insights and recommendations.  Consumers Energy would be involved in the project, because the overhead power line would be removed and then buried; Dan said he would coordinate the work schedule with Consumers Energy.  Between the reviews and meeting with him, it seemed Heeringa was worth the higher quote.  The results:  Dan Heeringa was probably the best contractor I have ever used.  He was always on the job site early.  We kept in contact via email and phone; he always responded timely.  I like projects to not only work properly, but to look professional; his first day on the job, he installed the new exterior meter box and other exterior electrical boxes, using a level - that is what I call "attention to detail"!  Almost any project may need some changes during the process; Dan was always open to discussion and questions.  In my case, there were some changes, and he did an excellent job working with me on those changes.  I have some more electrical work to be done, and I know who I will be calling!

Dan was prompt, professional, and friendly. He was efficient and quick. I also learned a few things about electric that will save me time and money down the line. I would highly recommend him and we will definitely be using his service again in the future.

Dan communicated well on when he was going to arrive.  Did an excellent job trying to determine the problem and efficiently resolved the issue.  He was professional and curtious and we would definitely choose to hire again, if needed.  Price for the work was very resonable also.

Inspected electrical failure to hot water heater.  The electrical switch to the hot water heater was repeatedly getting tripped.  Diagnosed the problem was the lower heating element was fried.  Fixed the problem same day (late on a Friday night).

It went pretty well. I think it was a good price.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. He gave me a lot of good ideas. He was very, very efficient. He was early, in fact by about 15-20 minutes, which was fine. I am seriously thinking about calling him to follow through on the report that he gave. He only charged the amount of the deal and I didn't get charged any extra. He said it would be around $400 to do the work. He checked everything. He was very, very professional and straight up. He identified who he was and what he was here for. He had all the paperwork.

It turned out great. There were no additional charges for the service. They came out and we scheduled an appointment very easily. I do not think that there was anything that we did not like. They were nice people and they knew what they were doing. It was a quick, easy and efficient service. We liked it.

Dan was right on time and very good at communicating before he came over. I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend his services.

He repaired the light and fixed and tested the smoke alarms.  He worked diligently on the outlets, but determined that the wires underground had corroded and were no good.  We will have to use another approach.

Dan arrived early and went to work inspecting all electrical outlets, breaker boxes, smoke detectors and electrical hookups in and out of the house.  He made recomeendations to bring the house up to current code, explaining each in detail and listed these in writing for me.  Great service and attitude.  Will definitely use his services again.

Figured out the problem and got the light working. Dan is very professional and works consistently to figure out the problem. We would hire him again.

I just had a good experience with them. I called them two days ago and made an appointment for them to come out today. He showed up five minutes early. He did a really good job and did some extra things that I had asked about. He gave excellent service. He was very pleasant to me and to deal with. He was here about 2 hours. I was very satisfied with him. I plan to use him again. I have already talked to him about another job.
