Glenn's was the second quote we received and although a higher quote, his attention to detail, and obvious concern for a proper job made the difference. Ours is an old, 1940's house (started as a tiny hunting cabin) and had the usual odd building idiosyncrasies. Glenn was mindful of costs, while still doing the job professionally and taking our house's little oddities into consideration. He and his partner took 2 days (as projected) to do the job. The tiling was done even better than the original -- they lined it up perfectly, even to the tile run going into the living room area, which was not a simple project. The old tile run was not done "in line" - Glenn took the time to do it right, instead of just following the old tile run. Re-tiling the entry door to the attic was done beautifully, and they even improved upon it by drilling out one of the attachment screw holes so that it actually fit. Overall, I would recommend Glenn Schooley to anyone who wants a job done as it should be.

Very nice guy who responded promptly and helped get the right people on the job. They ended up repairing some 2x4s on the side of my roof and fixing some of the roofing. The work was quality and matched the rest of the molding perfectly. Pricing was fair. Glenn made it happen.

Had rough drywall around a huge window that has a curved frame. Glenn came in and measured and then ordered it from a company. It took several weeks for the trim to be made. Glenn came back with another worker and trimmed out the large window. He also replaced the trim around my back door that had rotted. Glenn is a nice guy, professional and honest and tries to provide a reasonable rate. He went over the cost and had all receipts from Lowe's and from the company where he got the trim.

Had tree damage to the garage and some odd and end things that needed to be repaired. Glenn came over promptly to provide an estimate and he brought someone with him to work. They finished it in one day. They charged by the hour at $32.50 x 2 and the materials were $222.80.

Glenn was very prompt with his estimates. His time frames were right on. He was great with helping me make decisions. His work was very thorough and he always cleaned up before he left. The final results were outstanding.

Experienced builder; knowledgeable about local construction codes, suppliers, and sub-contractors. Prompt, professional, and very effective at communicating the project's status and what was required from the home owner. Very accessible to the home owner throughout the project. Glenn met with my wife and I at many suppliers, and was very helpful in selecting materials and coordinating finishes. Schooley is very quality conscience, using top quality materials and sub-contractors to complete the work. We are very satisfied with the overall quality of the work completed by Schooley. Glenn made many helpful material and finish suggestions I don't think we fully appreciated until after the home was complete. I highly recommend Schooley Builders.
