Mark is very professional and honest. I have a high level of trust for him and his company and have used him for a number of problems I've had with my home and rental properties. He is up front about his evaluation, recommendations and cost options. No surprises.

I called because I had thought my outside faucet had went bad and water had been running outside. The replaced the faucet and left, I still hear water running outside. An ice dam had fallen and turned on the other faucet at the other end of the house. Did they see this??? They never said anything.

We were told that we should expect about $350 to do the job, there was a question of potentially broken pipes behind the drywall so the quote was written up for not to exceed $750. After 2 hours of work we received a bill for $750. The explanation was that we were being charge for the initial sale call (45min) and because he had to load an air compressor into his truck and drive out to the job.

He is kinda rough on his communication skills. Impatient. I felt uncomfortable by him.
The job was done. Area not neat after he was done. I had to clean after him, water splashes and the sort.
But job was done neatly (minus the water all over) working fine.
It is EXTREMELY expensive. I was taken by surprice. I did not have time to quote and I think he noticed it and charge unmercifully. I am trying to sell the house and so I needed this done ASAP.
Not calling him again... at all!

The water heater started to leak so a replacement was covered under the home warranty. It took the insurance company a little time to find a plumber willing to work with them. Metro came out, got the job done, and went on their way without leaving a mess. A few months later the guy called complaining that the insurance company had not paid their invoice. I offered to call for support. He then started saying that I would have to pay because they hadn't yet. I explained I didn't hire him, had no idea about the details of his agreement with the insurance company, nor the price, so while I'd call them I wasn't going to pay him. I never heard from him again.

Good experience. Mark took the time to explain the issue, propose a solution, and get it fixed promptly. I also appreciated that he cleaned up after himself, as he had to cut a small piece of drywall to access the pipe. After he was done, I only had a minor drywall repair to take care of.

Despite knowing exactly what service I needed, he insisted he come out for an estimate, which I should have gotten more clarification on because THE ESTIMATE WAS NOT FREE. When he gave me the quote, I thought it was a little high so I told him I would be in touch, at which time he told me it would be a SIXTY DOLLAR CHARGE just for coming out and getting out of his truck for 5 minutes to tell me what I already knew. I had previously had two other FREE estimates from other plumbers who seemed more professional but when I learned of this sixty dollar charge I weighed it against the other estimates and decided I would just go with GR METRO since it would cost me more to pay his (pretty unethical if you ask me) sixty dollar fee and then hire one of the other plumbers. So I ended up having him do the service, and guess what, the faucet still leaks on the inside of the house. I hardly ever use that faucet so it's not a big concern, but when I do get it repaired it will definitely not be through this business.
Also, while we were discussing the repair, I asked if he could quickly take a look at another plumbing question I had (slow flow/low pressure in my kitchen sink) and he told me that that would be too much work and he would have to come out another time to do it. As a PLUMBER he could have at least turned the faucet on and off to get a rough idea of what the problem was, which would have taken all of 30 seconds.

Great service, fast and efficient.

It was late Friday and the downstairs drains started to overflow. I called around and other plumbers with 24 hour lines either didn't pick up, or had a shotty/rude operator. When Mark answered, he was very understanding, quoted a fair price, and arrived exactly when he said he would. When the job was done, we came in exactly at what he quoted. I would highly recommend using him to any friends/family or really anyone!

Mark was extremely professional. He was on time and because I was at work while the repairs were being done he sent me both before and after text messages of the damages. I was very impressed and would both recommend and use G R Metro Plumbing in the future.

Had Mark out to run a gas line and hook up a gas stove and
coincidentally needed to have a water line replaced to a leaky toilet.
We have used GR Metro in the past and think his prices are fair and the
work is always well done.

I was very satisfied with the work. I would always like it a little cheaper but I got what I paid for. He was very good to work with. I would definitely use them again.

An appointment was scheduled for an estimate within two days, with the agreement to the $50 service fee. The estimate for the work was $200 unless parts had to be ordered for replaceemtns, then it would be $35. When we agreed, the work was completed immediately. He told us what we could do to avoid costly replacement of flooring and future problems. The final charge for the work was $146 in addition to the service fee. Our experience was positive and he was courteous and helpful.

He was very friendly and worked very efficiently. He explained what he did and why it was necessary. Very professional.

Everything went well and we are pleased that there are still senior discounts. Makes a big difference to those with limited income. Thanks Mark!

The job went smoothly.

They were amazingly quick and incredibly friendly. They did a fantastic job. The price wasn't too bad. All in all it was a positive experience. I would absolutely use them again.

Arrived on time. Looked at every item I had listed from our house inspection and gave a written estimate. Performed all work that day except for one issue that he returned for promptly.

My toilet was flushing very slowly. At each step of the process from snaking the toilet to augering the line I was informed of what he was doing, why and what it would cost. The septic had been pumped and lt; 2 years before so it was a suprise that when he lifed the lid we found that it was full.
