Just got carpeting for 5 rooms and stairs. The salesperson was super friendly and knowledgeable. We went through Costco and could not beat the price compared to other quotes. The install was done in 1 day and they did an excellent job. There was a 2-man crew. They moved the big furniture, did the install, and then moved everything back the way it was. They were both friendly and personable. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Great! The carpet came in quickly and it was installed in one day. They even vacuumed up the stray strands when they were done. All I had to do was move the furniture back.

The were excellent from the salesmen to the installers and owner. This is a very first class operation. We ordered the carpet and when it was delivered we realized it was what we ordered but not what we wanted. Instead of arguing with us the installers said "no problem" and called the owner who basically said their job was to satisfy the customer and agreed to take the carpet back and had the salesmen back at our condo that evening. He also was not defensive and repeated that their job was to make sure we were satisfied. We picked new carpet and they even put it on a rush order. This company is the one used by Costco and we now see why. Excellent price and service.

They were upfront, honest, and punctual.  They did not try to push us into a particular product, and their price was competitive.  The installer even helped remove a creaking sound in the subfloor at the top of the stairs. 

Mr.Z was very helpful and showed exactly what we wanted in the price range we asked for. In fact, they still offered the exact same carpet in a patterned Berber that was ours and has been a mainstay for many families over the last 20+ years.

Mr. Z explained, these new carpets were different . A lot of older carpets were oil based products that were now made from organic corn oil. Allowing better wear, cleanliness and a longer life cycle. He showed us a few better grades and the advantages and allowed us to make the decision with absolutely no pressure at all.

The installation crew was punctual and professional and cleaned up after installation quite well.they left leaving us respected and relaxed in Rochester Hills. Great Job guys and see you next time we need any type of flooring needs.

The installation team was outstanding. They did a fabulous job, arrived on time, cleaned up, and worked late the second day to get the job finished. Beautiful installation. The sales representative was not particularly proactive in selling the carpet, and I never received a sample he ordered for me. However, I knew pretty much what I wanted and he did get the carpet ordered and installed very timely.  I have used Perfect Floors on 3 occasions over 10 years and I will use them again. They are very competitive and have been doing business for many years. We have been very happy with all of their services, having had tile installed through them in the past, as well as a prior carpet installation.

Did a good job, cleaned everything up, left no mess.

The sales man was very knowledgeable in helping us with our choices. The installers were prompt in arriving the 2 days that they were here. They worked and hard to complete the job so as not to interupt pur time schedule. They were profesional, polite and cleaned up. Great job!

Extremely happy and pleased with the results and everyone involved in the project.  Bryan at Perfect Floors was wonderful to work with, answered all my questions and was very accommodating in meeting my scheduling needs.  Initially I had reservations about going with Perfect Floors because of a negative review on Angie's list.  The owner of Perfect Floors took the time to contact me and provided an explanation which gave me reassurance that it was a situation that had been resolved. Overall, I am very satisfied and love my new flooring.  The project went smoothly and could not have been more timely.  Everyone, from Bryan in sales, Al the measuring guy, and Russ and his team of installers were professionals that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Very pleasant experience.  This is the second time we have had carpeting installed from Perfect Floors.  Nick the salesman was helpful and patient as we had lots of questions.  Then one fellow came out to take exact measurements.  The carpet installers (Jim & Duff) came out one day to rip out the old and gave me a day in between to screw down the squeaks which is not as easy as I thought it would be as they seem to move around, especially the creaks and groans.  When they came out to install the carpet one of them showed me how to brace the floor by the joists in the basement ceiling.  They did a very nice job of installing the carpet and vacuumed up the bits of carpeting so it was ready to move other items back in.  They also moved some of the heavy furniture around with no problem.  One place we checked out earlier seemed to say that they wouldn't like to move furniture so we didn't want to deal with them.

Matt at Perfect Floors was extremely helpful.  I explained in general terms what I was looking for.  He showed me a number of options and clearly explained the various types of carpet and the pros and cons of each.  He didn't attempt to up sell me to something that was not necessary for my situation.  Once the measurements were taken Matt developed an installation plan that minimized the number of seams in the new carpet which I appreciated because the seams in the old carpet I was replacing were quite obvious and unsightly.
After an installation date was established I discovered a leak in my patio door which is located in the living room.  I talked to Matt and he recommended that we delay installation until after the patio door was replaced.  The patio door needed to be ordered so the delay in carpet installation was almost six weeks.   When I received an installation date for the patio door I talked to Matt once again and he rescheduled the installation for shortly thereafter.
On the prescribed installation date Bob and Tom showed up on time and went right to work.  They worked efficiently moving furniture, removing old carpet and installing the new.  They were very professional and cleaned up very thoroughly after they were done.
I am very happy with the end result and very much appreciate the hassle free professionalism displayed by everyone at Perfect Floors with whom I worked.

The tile team are not full time employees.  They are independent sub contractors.
They repeated promised to show up and did not.
The first part of the tile was put down, and it was more than thirty days before that floor was finished.
And the floor was finished by a different contractor.
Damaged slate was installed in the main walkway between two doors, highly visible.  Unnecessarily detracting from the job quality, there are six boxes of slate still in the garage.  So we obviously got billed for way more than needed.
Grout is sloppy, on wood trim, missing between some tiles.Shoddy workmanship, unreasonable delay by sub-contractor, missed appts. by salesman, weak follow-up, excess materials ordered.Messy, unprofessional and crappy looking work.
Next time, I would call Bob Bloomingdale at Bloomingdale Construction and ask him who he uses for his tile floors and hire them.  We have used Bloomingdale for various projects at our home and been more than satisfied with their work and their sub contractors.

We are told the work is done.The work is incomplete, shoddy in quality, materials installed are damaged, damage is noticeable throughout the rooms.
We wasted $20,000, and deeply regret using this local business.They were recommended to us by another local business who had used them for a commercial installation.
Every room contains pieces of trim molding that were cut and fitted, but never nailed or glued down.  I am 70 years old, I cannot do this.  I paid for it to be done.  It was not.
The stairwell and front door area have missing trim where  tile was removed, this trim was not replaced.  Yet the shoe molding was put down.  Who does work like that ?  A shoe molding with a black hole behind it.
This is a dark maple floor.  The edges of multiple boards show raw wood, bare wood, wood without a finish on it.  It appears that the recessed edges of the beveled boards were damaged, and installed anyways.  We were told to expect some touchups.  Touchups were never done.  Nor was any material to do touchup with ever offered.
I could go on for another page.  This whole experience gives me a headache.  I still wake up at night angry at how we were treated.  We paid them in full.  They gave us shoddy work and do not care.Repeat mail, emails and phone calls to John Williams, the owner, are not returned.  We are referred back to the salesman we are unable to get resolution from.    A deeply disatisfying transaction.We have no affiliation with this business, or any business, worker, of any kind in the flooring business, nor any of their competitors.

Installation team did a very professional job, and were prompt, and cleaned up well behind themselves.

We discussed the project, obtained a recommendation for a particular product, and have purchased the product.

Mike was very responsive (able to come to my house for an estimate after only a day or so from my initial call). He was also very good at helping me figure out what would be possible given my current situation. After much hemming and hawing, I went with VCT  (vinyl composition tile)throughout the basement instead of carpet. Mike was very understanding and patient as I kept changing my mind. Also, he was quick to return my phone calls if I a had a question or an issue. 

The contractors who work for them were, in my case, fabulous. I asked for checkerboard design, but set on the diagonal, which I am told makes everything much harder. You wouldn't know it was hard unless you looked closely at their fine craftsmanship, cutting carefully out around my laundry tub's legs, etc.

Very well. They did a very good job, cleaned up nicely & vacuumed! We were very pleased. They accidently missed a spot and were there the next day to fix it.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY QUICK AND EFFICIENT. THEY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES VERY NICELY. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO HAVE AROUND. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.
