CLOOS CARPET

We have been bugging them consistently since the man installed new carpets in our house three years ago because they left some very unsightly seams and that were visible to anybody that walked through our house.  They seemed to be very pleasant, very nice to work with and very assuring when we were in the show room.  However, we actually tore out all the carpets even though we paid them to do that.  We picked every staple out of the floor, my wife and I personally and all they had to do was roll my carpets up and carry it into the basement where I was going to reuse it.  He complained about that but what he was charging me was for tearing the carpet out and for hauling it away to be ripped out and disposed, so I was very upset that he was complaining about carrying it into the basement.  He didn’t have to rip it out or dispose it somewhere, which probably would have been more work.  He ordered the carpets so close that he was literally patching the carpets into the closets one inch by one-inch pieces instead of having enough carpet to do the job with whole pieces.  We had so much trouble getting them to even acknowledge us, he finally did come out to redo the seams and they are a little better now but they are still visible.  We will not do business with them in the future whereas we were going to have them put in a kitchen floor but we have decided against that.  Their price was competitive but not the lowest.
