Well. Just cleaned it out and checked fluids. Did not try to charge me for things that didn't need repairs or replacing so I appreciated their honesty.

A great job. Because we were out of cooling, and the weather was so hot, they were at my house 45 minutes after I gave them the OK to install. They managed to revive my unit so it would work until the next day when they came to install the new unit. After the unit was installed we noticed a strange sound. They came back and corrected the base installation solving the problem.

I will never go with another company other than Briarwood... Our A/C broke last year and we had Main Heating and Cooling come out. They told us they could not fix our A/C unless we replaced our whole A/C and furnace for about $7000!!! I got a second opinion and called Briarwood. They came out and replaced a part in our A/C for about $170! It's been running great since last year and even again this year (with the 90+ degrees weather)! Briarwood is a trustworthy company! I had them come out again this year for a hot water heater problem and fixed it for about $100 (very reasonable) by replacing the thermocouple. They are affordable, and reliable! And, they came out the same day without extra fees! I would never go with anyone else but them for my future heating and cooling needs!

We've had numerous encounters with Briarwood, and every single employee seems to have great respect for their customers and are a pleasure to deal with.  Recently they came to my house to install a humidifier on our furnace.  The job went rather quick, and the technician took their time to provide an understanding of the unit.  I would highly recommend this company.

I called this morning in need of service.  From the time I called til the unit was fixed was about 1 1/2 hours.  Renee was very kind and helpful on the phone.  Lee is the technician that came out.  He is an outstanding technician.  He quickly found that the transformer needed to be replaced and fixed it immediately and gave me the old one that was burned up.  I am very pleased with Briarwood Htg. & Clg.  They are prompt, polite and efficient.  I can't say enough good things about them.

They were extremely courteous, punctual, and explained what they were doing. I would highly recommend them.

They were about $1500 cheaper than another company that gave me a quote.

They completed all the required repairs at a reasonable price but due to poor communication among their employees it took 4 visits for all the work to be completed. I called to discuss the situation with the owner and he was very rude and told me if I didn't like it to go somewhere else...so I will be following his advice in the future.

I was very impressed with the service repairman, he was very polite and professional. He also gave me suggestions on when to have furnace checked and advice on filter system. I would definitely call Briarwood Heating again.

Briarwood was called when my blower motor on my furnace started malfunctioning very early on a Thursday morning.
They responded to the initial call (off hours) in less than 10 minutes and were at my house in about an hour. The very knowledgeable technician (Lee) diagnosed the blower motor problem immediately, but, also showed a problem with the heat exchanger and the vent motor. On a 17 yr old furnace, the cost for repair was rapidly catching up to a newer, better, furnace and my wife and I elected to replace the current furnace. Lee guided us to a cost effective solution after addressing the immediate problem with the current blower motor. Installation was scheduled for 2-3 business days after the initial call. Lee got back with us before noon to communicate that the furnace we specified would not be available until Monday afternoon and asked if Tuesday morning was going to be OK for us. Very effective communications
The temporary fix only held for about 36 hours which resulted in another off hours phone call. We got the same excellent reponse. The engineer that arrived at 6PM on a Saturday evening, had been fully informed of our situation and installed a brand new blower motor to assure that we had heat until the new furnace arrived. At no additional cost.
The new furnace installation occurred right on time on the coldest day in decades. Drop cloths were applied for the entire path through our kitchen and down the stairs. Then at the end of the project, the work area was fully policed and cleaned before the installers left.
Overall, Briarwood staff seems very stable, friendly and informative in all respects. I have no reservations recommending them for any work that they do and they are now my go-to guys for heating and cooling.

Called Briarwood to get our a/c-furnace repaired. Technician (I believe his name was Pat) arrived well within the appoinment time frame and got right to work. Diagnosed problem quickly and made the repair. Pulled out old, dirty filter and advised us the size for a new one. Very satisfied, price was right, technician very professional. All in all a painless experience. Would definitely call again.

Overall I am very satisfied with pricing, equipment, and service performed. Brairwood has serviced my heating and cooling system in the past and was at my home within 12 hours from my call. After reviewing the system it was determined the compressor had failed. Due to the age of the system I decided to purchas a new system. It was installed within 5 days of the service call. The techinicians arrived as schehuled and the new system was up and running within 3 hours. They were very professional and the quality of their work was great. All of the old equipment was hauled away and both the inside and outside areas were cleaned up.

I called at 6:30 and got the answering machine, within the hour I got a call back and was first on the schedule.The Service Tech quickly found the issue, this high efficiency furnace pulls in zero degree air into a 70 degree basement and causes condensation in the intake motor. As the water builds up the fan will not turn. In ten minutes the fan is removed, water emptied out and it is replaced. Furnace working . But then he gave me several suggestions of how to keep it from happening again. This is where these guys stand out. They are fair, never trying to pad the bill but they also take the time to educate and offer solutions. Only Furnace guys I would call.

I would do it again...with Briarwood.

Everything was excellent. The price was good. They came right on time and installed and was good.
