The process went extremely well. Todd Finley provided us with an exceptionally talented group of workers that worked non stop and completed the task 3 weeks ahead of schedule( this was no small task either, considering that they had to remove walls and gutted our house down to the studs). The outcome of the remodel was beyond our expectations and the end result is beyond beautiful. Friends, family and neighbors cannot get over the transformation of our home. I would gladly hire them again, if needed, and would by all means recommend them.

The entire crew and all the subcontractors from Bloomingdale were exceptional. I appreciated their timeline checklist so I knew exactly what and when I needed to makes selections for the project to proceed, such as tile, flooring, appliances and paint colors. They were specific and detail oriented about every step in the project so there were no surprises, and they kept us up to date on costs. Everyone who came through our house was courteous and professional, which is so important because they are in your living space every single day. The crew cleaned up after every step during construction. I love my new kitchen - which is twice the size of the original. I would highly recommend Bloomingdale Construction.

Once we signed on the dotted line, the project started right away. There were no delays and the crews got right on with digging the hole for the foundation. We had a little surprise when they found an old septic tank but it was dug out and they finished. Next came the foundation blocks and the floor of the crawl space was poured. When that was set, then the walls and trusses. Before we knew it the walls, windows and then the roof,HVAC, electricity was done. Also the mason for the brick work. During that time was when the driveway,porch and back patio was poured. The James Hardie siding was installed and we also used that product to replace old siding on the existing part of the house. We had the old front door and front windows also replaced.

From the beginning to the end of the project everything went very well. We always felt confident that any concerns we had
that they were answered quickly and honestly. To say the Bloomingdale crews were very professional would be an understatement.
ALL of them were friendly and worked very hard.
With the exception of the unexpected septic tank and us adding things on ourselves, John was spot on with his quotes. In some cases some of our purchases were below what he quoted and he credited it too our final bill. We recommend Bloomingdale Construction to anyone that is considering any work on their house or business, you won't be disappointed at all.

They are builders and remodelers. They are local and they are really good. The guy specializes in this area and there are a lot of older homes so he's able to maintain the integrity of the home and build around it. He also does smaller jobs. He has been in the area for a long time and has an office locally. If I knew somebody that wanted to build or do any construction, I would highly recommend him.
