B-Aware Home Inspection

He did very little, shined a flashlight around the walls and checked the attic space. He was brusk, when I asked a question and gave a smart mouth response to one. He knows nothing about a furnace. He wrote a canned report, with things in it I never saw him actually do - like check electric outlets. My brother found a leak in the garbage disposal - after he had already checked it. After I told him I did not want an additional $100 Radon check, he barely spoke. He never looked at the sump pump - he would have had to move a board. He only checked the fireplace after my brother asked him to look. He is not someone to hire, he walked around the outside of the house and went room to room, mostly shining a flashlight at the walls. He did not carry any sort of check list. He took a few pictures with his phone and that was it. I have bought 5 homes with 5 inspectors and he was the worst most unorganized, hit and miss loser. I was in the house 4 hours and the firm who came to clean the air vents and furnace, turned off the gas because of a cracked heat exchanger. I strongly recommend that if you are getting an older home inspected have someone who knows how to check the furnace, air conditioner and major systems. This company cannot do any of that. My brother, my real-estate agent and I accompanied him and all 3 of us thought he was terrible. I recommend that you DO NOT USE this company.
