Art Van Furniture - Pure Sleep

Store is set up to sell mattress sets, frames and pillows only.
We were greeted by a khaki pants/blue oxford cloth shirt (store uniform obviously) man who repeated several times that all personnel had been specifically trained in depth to analyze sleep needs, patterns, problems and match that with appropriate bedding choices.
We stated that we wished to change to twin XL beds due to my medical problems, and my wife waking up at night when I get up and down with prostate cancer issues.
We bought the beds that were recommended.  We paid full price for new bedding, plus $80 for delivery.  Delivery was made the next day as promised.
We did not get new bedding, the hot pink colored "Floor Sample" tags were discovered after the delivery men had left.  After a year of arguing with Art Van, I am all done.  We paid for new bedding, we got stuff that was used as floor samples in the store.  The scuffs, marks etc. are there.  I still have the paperwork.  We were told that since the delivery was signed for, it could not be returned.
It was delivered on a Sunday, as we were on our way out the door to the hospital for a family member's sudden illness. So, yes, we signed.  Four days later, after funeral, and other immediate duties we contacted the store.  We were told our complaint about the bed frames tipping, and the floor sample issue could not be resolved. 
What BS!  The bed frames they sent flip up if you sit on the end of the bed.  We are in our seventies, this is ridiculously unsafe, and we were not told of this risk.
The touted mattress was unbearable for my wife and could not be returned.  We spent another $100 to get a foam topper for it, but it was still not letting her sleep.  We dumped the expensive mattress from Art Van and went to Sears, and she is very satisfied with the mattress they sold her.
I would not recommend Art Van Pure Sleep specialty store or their staff recommendations to anyone.  Selling used merchandise is fine, passing it off as new is not.  We were cheated, and they refused to resolve it.
