Justin, who repaired a deteriorated section of roof, was pleasant, friendly, efficient, and professional. If I were to have my entire roof replaced, I would insist that Justin be part of, if not the leader, of the crew.

They responded quickly to my initial request, did a good job repairing the shingles at a fair price. However, it seems that they would rather not do anymore work for me. Why not? Immediately after my roof repair, I had them come back and look at repairing an exterior brick wall-either with actual bricks or composite-and reinstalling an entry door. Despite the fact that their website clearly says they do this kind of work, the rep said no, they donâ t do brick repair or composite work but proceeded to tell me-in detail- how I could do it myself or hire a handyman. Really? The website also says no job is too big or small. Before leaving, he did give me an estimate on the entry door. But after a full week of no follow up, I assume they donâ t want to do this job for me either. Not sure what the problem is. My money is green and I paid for my shingle repair in full the moment it was completed. Iâ m happy to say Iâ ve hired another contractor for my outstanding projects.

This company is great to work with. Theyâre very polite and will come out and explain everything carefully. Our chimney had loose bricks that needed to be replaced as well as an entire chimney cap. Our only problem was the crazy weather. We hired them in October 2017 but because it got so cold and snowy, they werenât able to start till almost May 2018. That was because we had so much rain, too, this spring. But the job is done and looks good and no more puddles in my house! I can highly recommend this company.

James was exceptionally easy to work with and went over and above to accommodate the correct requirements for my house. His employees were also amazing and informative regarding the material needed and their work was outstanding. I will be keeping his number for future maintenance on my home and would highly recommend him to others requiring this type of work. Hes a 10 plus!

By far the worst contractor ive ever hired. Inexperienced employees that do sloppy work and charge way too much for subpar craftsmanship. Earlier reviews must have been done by family, friends or customers who just wanted the $ kickback offered by jmc. Don't waste your time or money.

We understand that after we left, you hired yet another company to replace your roof. This left the trim boards we installed exposed and not properly flashed. Kept in contact with us , came to work on time, brought material with them, went right to work in very cold, windy weather, did a little extra and the finished price was very reasonable. Workers were pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend John McCarter Construction.

I hired McCarter Construction to repair and replace a large window wall in our house. The project included new siding, exterior and interior trim, and aluminum gutter replacement above window. I wanted a general contractor to do the whole project. McCarter did excellent work, and stuck to their schedules, including several follow-up phone calls through completion of the project. I have used McCarter before, and would use them for any exterior home improvements in the future. Definitely good people to work with!

Fixed a leaky roof. The spot it was leaking wasn't readily apparent but they took the time to troubleshoot inside and outside to pin it down. Quick response, professional and friendly.
