- Quoted a price with a set of discounts he would later not honor - Even though it was agreed the rotten wood trim was to be replaced with a non-wood product (Trex-like), he never bothered to find a replacement until the day of the job. On that day he called to suggest painting galvanized wood would be good enough, and had to tell him to stick to our previous agreement. - He complained that the boards cost more than expected (not my problem) and proceeded to ask for an extra $100 over the contract price. - One year after the work was completed rain water leaked past his work and into the basement. He explained his warranty on labor was only 30 DAYS!!! I had to pay someone else to repair his poor workmanship. Steer clear of this company.

Our chimney was falling apart at the top, and we weren't expecting to get it repaired until the Spring. We had an unusually warm week in January, and Jeff came out and fixed our chimney quickly and was very professional. We will be hiring him again for our chimney needs, and will recommend him to our family and friends.

Wanted a stone-covered chimney instead of the ugly black-painted block work that existed. Job took longer than expected as weather wasn't cooperating. But the finished product is the work of an experienced ARTIST! I absolutely love it!

I had dealt with this provider before joining Angie's List, so I knew he was good. He still had records from 2013 when I contacted him in 2014. He came when he said, did what he promised, charged what we discussed, & left everything clean & fixed. The price for his work was consistent with other providers. No surprises. I would definitely use him again.

We have used this company twice this year for brick repair. We have a historical home built in 1835 made entirely of brick. They are professional and did an outstanding job with the brick work. They knew the appropriate mortar to use and were careful not to cause any damage. This will be the only company I use going forward. Awesome job!

It took 3 part time days to complete. This was no problem for us. Lawrence the contractor that did the preliminary and most of the work was very personable and considerate. He did a wonderful job, it looks great. He went out of his way to get as much of the repair to match the rest of the bricking. This was on a 50 year old house and not easy. It tooks 5 weeks from time of signing the contract and the work to begin. Again this was no problem for us as that there was no urgency.

Very professional and clean when doing the chimney sweep - not a bit of dust left behind. Did a beautiful job on our chimney repair! We have hired Grey Oaks on 3 different occasions and have always been pleased.
