Good--not high pressure.

I called them on a Monday, they called me back on Thursday. I talked to him about the job. They said some one would be back in touch about the estimate. After two weeks I gave up and sent them a letter stating I was going to go with someone else.

We had gutter damage from a tree falling on our house. I had used Allen Brothers once before to fix a chronic leak in our roof. They were here in a few days, repaired the gutters and put everything back together again perfectly. They were prompt, professional and reliable. I have been searching for a reliable roof repair company for years and have finally found one I can count on.

I have had a leak in a very complex corner of my roof ever since I bought this house. It had damaged the ceiling and walls of a bathroom, requiring extensive plaster work. I had tried many different "handymen" to repair the problem and had contacted many roofing contractors to take a look at it in the past. Only one roofing contractor had ever bothered to take a look at it and, once he decided that it did not require replacing the entire roof, he left without offering to do the necessary repairs. I found Allen Brothers on Angie's List, called them, they came out within a few days and sent a crew out to complete the work within a week. The leaks are gone. I was able to complete repairs to the inside walls and ceiling and everything is back in top shape. A recent rainstorm due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ike dumped enough water on the roof to thoroughly test for leaks and the roof held up for the first time since we have lived here.

The job was done so professionally that I only knew the job was complete when my daughter told me a man went on the roof. Replacement shingles are matched so closely in color and pattern with the weathered shingles on the roof, that I cannot tell where the patch is observing from the ground. The leak has stopped.

Responded promptly to request for quote. Completed the work quickly and cleaned up completely.

Allen Brothers is great. It was the middle of winter and we have a steep roof that was covered in ice and they went out the window onto the roof to patch the leak. They were honest about all of my questions and explained everything to me. I was very grateful they came in the winter.

Gave a fair estimate, but were willing to negotiate. Arrived on time, with quality crews. Spent several days completing job with skilled labor. Replaced decking as needed, did not overcharge for unneeded plywood, cleaned up well. Returned promptly when we noticed a minor problem. Solved the problem without hassle or additional expense.

They did an excellent job and were one of the few people willing to do small work!
