Small Appliance Repair
Outstanding! Of ALL the repair places in the metro Detroit area, Certified gave me an honest quote, quick response of my options, and fixed my machine in two days. I have a Filter Queen that I thought needed a new motor. Richard, the repair technician, assessed the actual problem, and was able to do the repair for under $100.00, while every one else would have charged me $350.00 for a new motor, plus labor. While in the store picking up my completed machine, a woman came in with an old carpet attachment. The service counter person immediately pulled apart the unit, put power through it and determined that there was a problem with the motor, and not the belt, and was able to give a ball-park figure for the repair. If you have an expensive vacuum cleaner, such as a Filter Queen or Rainbow, I would advise you to take it here first.
