"I am very sorry to hear that you are so unsatisfied with our company. Yes we did have your deposit for over two months. I do clearly remember discussing with you the day I was out to your house to go over what you wanted to have done telling that it would not be until Aug until we could get to your project. We are a very reputable company and it is very normal to be 2 and 3 months out before project are completed. We signed a contract for a different customer in March that wasn't completed unitl 11 July 2016, you are more than welcome to come to my office and see that almost everyone of our contract are signed and not completed for 2 and 3 months sometimes. Secondly, you contacted me one time about when is your project going to be completed and the date of that email was Saturday Aug 6th, and I will admit that NO I did not respond to that email. However, you did NOT demand your deposit back, you said if its not complete by the 13th of Aug you want your deposit mailed back. I've copied and pasted your email here. "You have had our deposit for 2 months now for the patio fire pit on [Member Information Removed] Dr. We will be there on the 13th and if you cannot have it done by then we may as well wait until next year so we would like our deposit mailed back to the [Member Information Removed] Allen Park, Mi. address Thank you". You gave me an ultimatum not a demand, your comments make it seem as if we were not willing to give you back your deposit. Also your project was completed Aug 11th not the 20th as stated by you, which was in fact before you came here for a weeks long vacation from Sat Aug 13th until Sun Aug 21. Lastly, yes my employee backed into your porch. I'm sorry that happened. But most importantly we did fix it, completely. You got a new set of stairs and new post. You know what "accidents do happen" BUT WE FIXED IT!!! I feel a less reputable company would have done far less if anything. As far as the painting goes, I told you "its PT wood so it needs to wait to it dries out before painting" you told me "not to worry about it that you have the paint that matches that you would take care of it". You have made this out to seem as if we are an irresponsible company who did not act in a professional manner or not take care of an accident that do happen sometimes I am very sorry you feel this way. Last thing we want is an unhappy customer."
