The crew showed up on my scheduled day, put tarps down and had everything torn off and prepped by lunch, then completed the entire job by 7pm. They were very polite and professional, I couldn't be happier with the job they did for me. They made sure every nail and piece of scrap was picked up before leaving.

They were excellent, everything was done perfectly in a timely manner. The installer were friendly, quick and just great.

I had three estimates and I chose them because of their professionalism. They were out here in just a few days and they did a great job. The crew worked nonstop until dark. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I would definitely hire them again.

The work was excellent. We agreed on an installation date, and the company called to see if they could do the work a week earlier. They cleaned up completely--I did not find a single nail or scrap after the work was done. The roof looks great, and the leak that led me to realize I needed a new roof is completely repaired as well. Katz had been recommended by two people I trusted, so I didn't hesitate to hire them. They did a great job, quickly and professionally.

My mother's house which had just had a a tear off replace done 3 weeks prior to the storm was damaged by a tree falling on it. Katz which has a fair ranking here had by far the best price to repair the damage. When I contacted the individual to let them know they would be getting the job, it was in July. At the time I inquired as to when he thought they would be able to fit the work in and he said he thought they were trying to get all these smaller jobs done in the next two weeks because they had a large job coming up. Fair enough. Two weeks went by and no contact was made by Katz so I called them. The contact had to check and called me back, I was informed it would be about a week and 1/2 before they would get to mom. Two weeks went by. Nothing. Rinse and repeat. Finally after 6 more weeks they came and repaired the roof but couldn't do the soffit. The house is 90 years old and the wood used to make the soffit is larger than today's stock size. So the workers left. So I called and was told that they had contracted with LL Johnson in Charlotte to get some milled. When I called to find out where they were in the process, I was given a new name as someone who was milling the wood. They finally showed and painted the wood prior to repairing the soffit. Then after repairing the soffit and painting damaged siding they informed my mother that they were all done and the house was finished. When I could check the work that weekend, I was obvisous to me that they a missed installing a 12 foot piece of trim at the junction of the soffit and the wall. It was installed on the rest of the repaired area. So another call. Finally in October the house was finished. Then the bill which obviously had been mailed prior to that last piece of molding being installed arrived and I was called by the salesman wanting to know if they could stop by and get a check. They want to ease a cach flow situation. I gave them a time I would be at my mom's so someone could stop by and get the check. Shock, they didn't show up so it was mailed. The invoice was for $400 more than the quote and while it was probably justified, (custom milled wood) their was no indication as to why it was $400. Their crew left wood behind my mother's garage and a paint can and brush back there. After the initial tear off, they always used her trash bin instead of halling away their trash and used her hose without returning things as they found them. The work is statisfactory. Getting it done was a frustating experience I won't repeat.

It went well, one issue is they never sent me my guarantee. I called them twice and left a message and i never heard anything from them. The roof that they put on was good, they were quick. The gutters that they re-installed, they didn't do a very good with those but i really can't blame them for that. But i need my guarantee. They were very comprehensive, i like the message that they use. The crew was very good at cleaning up. The price was comparable.

The company was the lowest bid and provided a professional bid. Katz set a tentative date, but didn't arrive. They said they were behind on a previous job. They dropped off the trim fascia for me to prime and paint. Left it in the rain, but there was time to dry it out. When they did start there was a fair sized crew working. The foreman was professional, polite and answered all my questions. There was a mis-communication regarding some flashing and they couldn't finish the sky light. As soon as that was rectified, they finished the sky light quickly. The bill included extra fees for plywood which had been agreed to. However, it did surprise me to be billed $40.00 a sheet. I priced sheathing and found the most expensive at $18.47 a sheet. When I asked about the price they simply said it was expensive. Five sheets at an extra $20/sheet worked out to an extra $100. Maybe there were other costs involved, but I would rather have had them itemized rather than have it charged in this manner.

Overall, it was a lousy experience, and I will NEVER do business with this company, and I will NEVER reccommend this company to anyone.

The company is extremely personable and responsive. The estimate we received was honest and accurate. The workmen worked hard and completed the job within one day as promised. They cleaned up after themselves.

We had a problem scheduling. Contract did not specify time line. Then company wanted to come in the rain! Finally we settled on a date and they completed work in one day. We had to pay $400 more for sky tubes to be installed -- this cost was not in contract but sky tubes which we purchased were to be installed. We paid for fixed number of shingle bundles -- took five bundles back with no credit to us. Contracted for 6 roof vents - put in three. Tried to contact them finally sent certified letter that took 10 days to receive and they still have not corrected problem. Said they would bring shingles when next in area - get real. No reimbursement for vents they did not put in per their contract. Company is not responsive but gives a great sales pitch.

It went great! The representative had an information packet all ready to present. He was definitely the most professional person who gave me an estimate. When another person in the room made what sounded like a prejudiced comment about a nationality of workers, he said that they used all races and nationalities of people as roofers as long as they followed the company's standards of work and work-site behavior. I was impressed by that. They did part of the roof and then waited for the construction of the room to be completed to do that part. They didn't require money until the job was done. All the plants were protected and the job was cleaned up very well.

THE SALES MAN AND I AGREED TO COVER MY PLANTS WITH A TARP AND PLYWOOD BUT THEY DID NOT AND DAMAGED 4 PLANTS. THEY TOOK $25 OFF THE BILL TO REPLACE DAMAGED PLANTS, I WAS DISAPPOINTED. WE SIGNED ON THE 14TH OF MAY TO HAVE IT FINISHED IN 2 WEEKS BUT THEY DIDN'T COME FOR 3 WEEKS AND THREW ME OFF THE SCHEDULE FOR SOME OTHER APPOINTMENT I HAD SCHEDULED. NO ADVANCED WARNING. THEY CALLED ONE NIGHT AT 9:30 TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE COMING AT 7 A.M THE NEXT DAY.
