Very well. They took very good care of my kitty and let me know right away what the diagnosis was and what to expect. Unfortunately he had a terminal illness, but they were incredibly kind and caring, and took great care of him. I would enthusiastically recommend them to other pet owners, they were kind, competent, and professional.

Not well, although the vet did call to apologize and make things better which I really appreciated. I do however question the quality of care and fairness of pricing.

Dr. Lynn is now gone, and he was afraid of animals, which was bizarre. He wouldn't put his fingers in my dog's mouth even though I wanted him to check out a growth she had in there and had removed and for the follow up appointment. I was like, "she doesn't bite" but I'm sure he's heard that before. I think they're a little bit over priced and I bitch at them every time I go in there about it. You generally don't have to wait too long.

The cost includes our initial visit on Monday, 3/24; today was a follow up and was only $8. We took our green cheek conure in because he had cut his foot right at the joint of his back toe. It wasn't healing and seemed to be getting more painful. It isn't easy to find vets who treat birds. I was impressed with the knowledge and care shown. The vet and vet assistants knew birds and were careful to explain what needed to be done and why. They showed us exactly how to give him his meds and made a follow-up call yesterday to make sure he was doing OK. We were quite relieved to have our bird in such good, experienced hands. The folks at the front desk were friendly, welcoming and professional. I would certainly recommend Milwood Animal Clinic to anyone, but especially if they have a bird.

I took my sweet Lola (1 year old lab/pit mix) to Milwood when she wasn't feeling well for a few days. I tried a few at-home remedies, and her sluggishness and diarrhea was not getting better.
I was able to make a very last-minute, right before closing time appointment with a veterinarian on a week night. The doctor (I forget her name :() was very sweet and gentle with Lola, who was very nervous AND uncomfortable from being sick. Even while she poked at prodded, the doctor was kind and careful with my sweet girl!
I was nervous about the visit costing an arm and a leg, but the doctors at Milwood were SO wonderful about helping me get Lola the treatment she needed without breaking the bank. Instead of prescribing hundreds of dollars worth of medications and tests, she suggested giving an antibiotic a try for a few days, and seeing if that helped. If not, I could come back and look into further treatment. The antibiotic worked like a charm, and I didn't have to spend a fortune on extra stuff we didn't need.
The girls sent us home with a bag of puppy food, extra samples of flea and heartworm meds, and LOTS of treats and snuggles. Thank you, Milwood, for making Lola's first big vet experience a good one!

The cost notwithstanding, I couldn't have asked for better care for my pets. Although I am not a big fan of declawing, it was a decision I came to after much deliberation. The doctor was very good about explaining the procedure and alleviating my fears. I was amazed at how my kitty bounced back and did not seem traumatized at all. The clinic ensured he was in the least amount of pain possible. The clinic and staff know their stuff and give you printed estimates prior to any treatment. They spend enough time with you and answer all your questions.
Bottom Line: You get the care you pay for.

I think I spent around $300. Their service went fine. The vets were good. They have decent hours for dropping while you are off and picking them up in the evening. They seemed pretty helpful in providing the information and the vet called me to tell me about the test results. They have been pretty responsive. I haven’t really compared their price with the other places. They seem like they take care of the animals.
