LOCEY SWIM & SPA

I took an Aquabot that I purchased 2 years ago from them to be repaired. They stated it was no longer under warranty. The said the problem was the blower motor and it would be approximately $539.00 to repair and attempted to sell me a new unit. I said repair it and let me know the warranty on the new motor.  After waiting 3 weeks I stopped in personally on 7/18/15. They acted as if they knew nothing about the repair.  Finally they did find my paperwork and said nothing was done.  I was obviously upset and they promised to install the new motor by 4:00PM. 

I called them back at 3:30PM and found that they still had done nothing. They were now telling me that not only was it the blower motor, their original diagnosis, but it was also the drive motor.  The unit ran just fine so I could not believe what they were saying. It moved around the pool with no issues, only the suction did not work.  They now stated it would be about $800.00 for repairs and instead they said I could buy a different type unit brand new for $700.00. 

I went in about 15 minutes later and picked up the new unit only to find they charged me $750.00.  I advised them that I would not be back.  This is the 2nd time I have had problems there so I felt it was necessary to share my experience.

They were great! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had questions that had come up about the hot tub we've never owned one before and they were always wiling to take my call, I stuck in there they check the water so the service continues. We also look for hot tubs in other places but I was not impressed.

We purchased a used hot tub that needed some repair---totally out of our league. Even though it was a busy time of year and we were a new customer Locey made time to come out and fix our tub. It took them two visits because they ended up needing to move it to work on it but even with two visits and an expensive part, they only charged $200. They were very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. We will certainly call them again if we need repair service.
