DON'S TOWING INC

First Dons told me that they couldnt provide transportation for me and my children...keep in mind i pay for aaa road service and their dispatcher sent Dons towing to me. Next, the driver loaded my vehicle onto the truck. When he arrived at my home i directed him where to drop my car..he told me he could not get to in front of my garage...so i told him to just unload it right where he had backed in. After that rhe driver proceeded to get inside my vehicle and pull it forward to where i asked for it to be unloaded. When the driver..David Grahm..got out of my car he asked if i minded if he looked at it. I told him that this was an issue that my husband was aware of and xould easily fixed and only needed a tow because in limp mode my vehicle did not have enough power to make it onto the road across traffic and that my hubby would be able to fix it when he got home from work. Mr. Grahm kept insisting stating that he had own cadillacs his whole life and was familiar with the problem and guaranteed he could fix it. I advised him that i had nowhere i needed to be and that i could wait for my husband. Mr. Grahm took it upon himself to pop the hood of my car...he removed my engine cover and attempted to pretend that he was a mechanic. Mr Grahm did not listen to me or stop messing under my hood until he broke coolant lines and covered himself in the fluid...he then told me that he felt s***** and would come back that friday to fix my car. I was left with my vehicle left in a puddle of coolant and a business card. I called my husband told him what had happened and sent pictures of the massive amount of coolant on the cement surrounding my car. He then called Dons Towing and explained to the dispatcher what had happened..she informed him that she would make a report and have the boss call first thing in the am...sgortly after that the driver called my husband and stated and i quote ' i am by no means a mechanic. I just played with some wires under the hood'. Well the next morning came with zero calls from Dons Towing..so my hubby called them. When he asked to speak with the boss he was treated rudely..and when the boss came on the line and told him that he was expecting the call regarding our damaged vehicle..the boss was obscene and unprofessional and stated he knew nothing about it and asked what we expected him to do. My husband replied that he wanted our vehicle in the same condition that the tow truck driver picked it up in. Dons denied responsibility. So i called the roadservice and they had to put in a damage claim and give dons a chance to make it right and they contacted dons...who agreed to tow my vehicle to a garage to be fixed. My car that had been driven by the tow driver could now not even be turned over. The garage that dons are friends with fixed one of the top hoses that had been broken. The same day they returned my vehicle i experienced heavy smoking from under the hood and my car stalled. Aaa then had to take over and told me they have insurance that covered tow companies errors and my car was taken to an aaa approved shop where it stayed for the next 3 weeks. Since the complaint only mentioned coolant issues that was what was serviced. The week i got my car back i started experiencing the electical damage that had been caused. My Cadillac srx now sits parked because of all the damage and problems this tow driver caused. BEWARE not only did the tow driver make it so my vehicle is no longer running but the dispatcher lied, covered up the employees mistakes, hand out my hubbys number to the driver..but also the man running this s***** operation is so rude and unprofessional and lacks taking responsibility for damage and errors caused by his drivers. I am disappointed that a company such as AAA would endorse them as a provider to handle their customers roadside needs. One would be better off pushing it or using a tow strap. 3 days after i return from driving across 5 states in my srx that i purchased one month prior and a dimwit tow driver disobeys common practice that the driver must never pop your hood and play mechanic and i havent been able to drive my car yet. Common sense should scream to never tinker with electrical wiring under the hood of a Cadillac unless you are certified to do so
