Curbside service, especially recycling, is problematic. They routinely leave bits of trash in the street. You never know when they are going to come around. And if there is a holiday pick up may be several days behind, or in the case of recycling it may not happen at all. They missed my recycling last week and won’t pick it up until next week. Calling to report issues is of no use. The trash service is through my city, I pay extra for the curbside recycling and I am seriously wondering if it’s worth it.

Very poor. The containers were often not fully emptied and thrown where ever they felt like tossing them. Caused damage to containers also. Very unpredictable pickup times and sometimes not picked up at all, had to call. When I decided to cancel service, they tagged my containers that I had been using for 6 months for being oversize one week before service stopped. On the last week of service with them, they did not pickup garbage at all. They bought out the local company that provided great service for years. What a shame. We lost that small business friendly service to a giant that does not care. Found another local company with a great reputation to replace these clowns. Goodbye forever Waste Management!

Great, customer service experience was awesome, I received a better discount by calling than I would have online for a first time customer. All my questions were answered and the price I received from them was better than what my neighbors get from the other providers even without the discount. They come early and clean up well, I appreciate prompt service.

Waste Management is not committed to recycling.  They do fine with our garbage pick-up, but  we recycle everything we can.  We have a family of four kids and that means lots of jars, plastic and paper.  We generally do not fill up one garbage can a week, but we do have a large bag or two every week of recycling.  So here is the issue....

Waste management only picks up recycling every other week.  Also, they only provide a small container / tote for recycling.  Our pick up is Thursday and within 2-3 days ours is already full.   So, we have clear plastic bags full of recycling in our garage all of the time.  The bags take up a lot of room and are unsightly.  In fact, my in-laws often will take a bag home with them when they see  them (they have weekly with another company). 

We have requested a big roller can like the garbage can and Waste Management declined to provide it.  Also, when we called about weekly  pick-up the customer service person recommended we should call back many times because when the company hears enough about it, they will do something.  Evidently they do provide weekly and large container recycling in other neighborhoods.  It seems silly that I should call over and over again until it changes? 

We would like them to promote recycling more by making it easier to do it. 

To start the provider did not pick my trash up for two weeks. Never sent a truck to pick up missed trash and no refund for services paid for but not provided. After many phone calls I finally got them picking trash up on a regular basis. After 2 months they cancelled service in my area. New provider I have now is cheaper and have had no problems.

We signed up for service about a month ago, and they've collected about 4 times for us. Their prices are competitive, and their pickup day in our neighborhood works well for us. Additionally, their customer service representatives are extremely professional, which was refreshing to experience. Their website is - well, not great. It looks good, but it is difficult to find what you're looking for and just flat out doesn't have information that should be there. For example, recycling instructions. There is nothing on their website that explains how to prepare recyclable items for pickup. They have a link that supposedly takes you to such a page, but when you follow that link, the information isn't on the resulting page. All that being said, it was still a better website than their competitor. Finally, and most disappointingly, we're 4 weeks into our service and we've yet to receive our garbage container (!!). Apparently there is a shortage, they say it should be here in a week or two.

.I have never had a problem. They have always been responsive. They pick up large items. We have been using them for about 2.5 years.
