Roof One did an excellent job throughout the entire process. Scott was professional and very responsive with calls/ texts. Both their insulation and roofing crews were professional and efficient. In fact I was surprised at how well they cleaned up upon completion.

We just had our roof replaced with Roof One. It was a complete tear off and replacement. When we decided to get our roof replaced, we had received a total of two quotes, one from another company who offered the same materials, and the other from Roof One. Roof One was the most competitively priced and they offered a longer, non-prorated warranty. We chose the GAF Timberline Lifetime Warranty (Golden Pledge), which includes materials and labor. The roof was efficiently installed in two days with a five-man crew, who cleaned up everything before they left each day. Steve, our sales consultant, made sure we were completely satisfied with the work and even added a custom starburst gable vent cover on the front of the house. They did an excellent job, and we received compliments from our neighbors about how nice our roof looks. We definitely recommend Roof One.

 It went well.

 They found the roof wood was rotten. They took pictures of the wood and physically show me the wood.

 The original contract allowed for two wood sheets at $48 a sheet. When they found the need for 35

sheets they lower the price per sheet to $40.

They did a great job.

They replaced the wood that was originally put on when the house was new (1979); the need for new wood was not a surprise.

They totally cleaned up; even using an outside vacuum. The had to use two rather than one dumpster; and did not charge me for the second one.

We had our entire roof replaced in late 2010.  Steve McCusker was the main contact during this time.  We had three different contractor bid on our job.  Looking back at my notes, I sent Steve a note which thanked him for his sales approach, customer education, industry knowledge and ethics.  We told Steve we literally had to ask hard sell sales people from other companies to leave our home when they displayed aggressive sales tactics.  Steve also pointed out that our roof prior to replacement was covered under the Certain Teed Litigation issue.  Steve was the only to point this out to us.  We actually had one contractor who told us that he would just take 10% off whatever the Roof One price was.  We did not feel comfortable with this approach as this other company did not seem to figure out our job, just focused on the price.  We picked Roof One to do our roof and felt good about the decision.

They did a excellent job with the sales process and the installation itself,  but I am writing this review to talk about the service after the sale.  This is critical to be able to trust this when making a roofing decision.

Our roof had a 30 year warranty on it. After a couple of years, a small area of the roof developed some algae on it and turned in greenish in color.  We discussed the situation with Roof One.  They assisted in removal of a couple of the effected shingles and helped with the paperwork to submit the shingles to Owens Corning under the warranty.  Owens Corning reviewed the shingles and determined that the type of algae was not covered and suggested some maintenance items to try to correct the situation.  None of their suggestions worked and they would not cover a repair under warranty.  Steve reviewed the situation and the small area that had been effected by the algae (10% of roof).  He and Roof One stood behind us even when Owens Corning did not.  They removed and replaced the affected sections of the roof down to bare wood and put new product on the roof.  It is this action that in our mind has separated Roof One from the others.  This is a company that you can count on!  Highly recommend them for the job and also taking care of you later (if needed).

The project went very well. The crew was hard working and very professional. I observed the installation of all components and all were done to my satisfaction. They took extra time caulking and cleaning up. After 10 years, the roof still looks good and I have had no problems. They were very concerned about customer satisfaction. Apparently someone had called in a complaint and they mistakenly thought it was me. The entire crew showed up at my house to find out what was wrong and fix it. Very Impressive.

Had 3 companies quote. Roof One reduced price to competitive match by altering some materials. Also, I really felt the salesman was easy to deal with, not aggressive, nor sucking up tons of my time. Said it would be 2-3 weeks until roof was scheduled. About 4 weeks late I called to check. They said it had been raining so they were behind, however, it just would have been nice to know. They performed the work while we were out of town. Some of the shingles were and quot;bentand quot; or and quot;wavyand quot;. I called for correction and was told that sometimes that happens when the pack of shingles are bowed during delivery. They said to wait 2-3 weeks and the sun will heat them up and flatten them out. Because it has been a cool summer, that process actually took about 6 weeks. I received a couple of invoices during that time, as payment is due on completion. I called and informed their staff that I will not consider the job complete until the shingles are either flat or replaced. That made the invoices stop. Once they flattened out, I called and arranged for payment. Overall, I thought it was a fair job. I like how the roof looks, I really liked the sales guy's approach, and I thought the price was fair. The execution could have been a bit smoother and I would have ranked them higher. However, I would use them again.

It was excellent. We've used them 3 times in the last 2 years. They are extremely reliable and professional. They definitely clean up their mess. Their prices were good. We didn't pick the cheapest or the highest.

I contacted five or six different roofing companies in the area and asked each to provide a quote to replace our roof (approximately 15 years old). I asked that each company quote the same shingles (GAF Timberline), the same roofing system (e.g. underlayment, hip and ridge cap, 6 nails per shingle for wind resistance), and the same warranty. Each of the companies came to the house and gave a quote which varied significantly by company. Scott Doree from Roof One provided one of these quotes.
Scott was very knowledgeable and answered a number of detailed questions comprehensively. He was balanced with no hard sell technique (unlike other companies). He took the time to go into the attic and look at the underside of the roofing boards to determine if any would need to be replaced. After reviewing all the quotes, I chose Roof One for a number of reasons. First, the company had strong reviews. Second, they appeared to have a close association with the shingle manufacturer GAF (Master Elite roofers for GAF). Third, Scott made a difference in his approach and follow-up. Fourth, their price was competitive. Fifth, the crew chief that would be working on our roof had been with the company for a number of years as had many of the crew members. Sixth, Roof One personnel train to stay up to date with the latest installation techniques.
The installation of the roof was delayed because of rain for a few days. Once the work started the Roof One team was on time and efficient. They completed the work in about two and half days and were mindful of protecting the project in case of additional rain delays. At the completion of the job, they asked me to inspect the work and provide any feedback. The roof looked outstanding and really improved the appearance of the house. They completed a thorough clean-up. After the job was completed, Roof One was very responsive to fixing a minor issue that I identified.
We are very pleased with the roof and the quality of the work that Roof One did and would highly recommend them.

House turned out beautiful. Had one minor issue (house on lake so we get very high winds and one small piece came loose) but I called and a repair person was sent out within hours. They fixed it and came to the front door before leaving to give me an update.
Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Estimator met me as scheduled. Provided the best quotes and the same quality shingles and warranty. I have used Roof one in the past and would recommend them to others.

Two guys worked 2 1/2 days doing the work. The temperature was in the upper 80s, so they would work till early afternoon, quit, then come back at 5pm and work till it was dark. They had to replace 88ft of 1x8 boards. They worked hard and were very professional. They cleaned everything up and now the roof looks great. I would definitely use Roof One again and will recommend them to my friends.

Everything seemed excellent... until water started coming down through an upstairs ceiling.
Company sent someone out, and they found and fixed the faulty (missing?) flashing.
No problems whatsoever since then.

Did everything they said they would do. The two man crew did an excellent job. They took a little longer than usual, but did excellent work. They really paid attention to detail. Excellent company. A pleasure to do business with them.

I was very pleased with the experience. They did a good and professional job. They worked quickly. When they were done, they came within a half hour to pick the dumpster out of my driveway. I was a very pleasant experience all in all.

They gave us a very reasonable price. They are professional, gave us very detailed quote and are very willing to work with their customers. It was pretty easy to schedule for the quote. They came out and gave sample materials and colors so I could decide on the colors for my roof. Basically, if I call them with questions, they are there to answer. When I wanted to have some things added on the quote, they accepted what I want.
