REPUBLIC WASTE SERVICES

Out of 8 weeks of service so far, only 2 weeks have gone without a problem. They have not picked up one of the services (trash, recycling, or lawn) more than 50% of the time, even with numerous phone calls, emails, and being placed on their "Priority List" where each driver is supposed to call in to dispatch each week to confirm the pickup.
I have had to move the full bins back and forth from the curb numerous times due to no pick-up. The price is good but the service is horrible. Their Customer Service staff seems apathetic to the situation. I had to call/email 3 times to get credit for the days service was not provided as paid for - never ONCE did they offer a credit.
We are about to cancel our service and go with another provider. 
If you start new residential service with this company, I would request to be placed on their "Priority List" from the start!

This is in reference to the dumpster.  Oh, joy!  The size was bigger than expected and the garage is cleaned out.  They drove it down our rather difficult driveway and out when promised with professional service.  Very pleased.
The weekly service is higher than others.  The single man truck for collection of garbage is very good.  The recycle truck has required extra phone contacts.  I believe there are fewer users of that service.  This is what I need to pay inorder to get the recycle service.

They come every Monday to collect the garbage and the branches.  It's a free city service, that I'm aware of.  We put the garbage out on the street and they come by, collect it, dump it and then we bring our can back.  We've used them only twice and so far it's been fine.  They've been fine with punctuality.

They are quit prompt being first thing in the morning. If you don't get your garbage out the night before then you might miss them. They have a nice recycle program. With gas prices going up they do charge a gas surcharge.

They have been removing trash for years, and last year they started missing one week after the other. I spend hours on the phone and they put me in a special category to make sure I get service. Then, I got a message from the truck driver (not from the company, from the driver, a "friendly" guy, who said: hey, why don't you bring your trash some 300 yards down the road, it will be easier for me to pick!). I called the company and told them that the service had been under these conditions since the previous owner (several years ago). I have not had trash removal for a month. TERRIBLE service.

No complaints, but there is a lot of garbage flying around the neighborhood when they pickup the trash.
