Tim Travis from Goldner Walsh Garden and Home was always available to answer questions and used some existing plants I had in a front yard garden to fill in areas in our back. His crew worked the soil in areas to loosen it with good soil they added and mulched large areas of our front, back and side yard. He brought me a gift of a rare daylilly that they also planted.
I liked the selection of unusual trees and plantings available at his nursery and my husband and I are thankful we found someone who was so reliable and knowledgeable about what plants would do well in our shady garden.

The landscape designer was very responsive to my requests and also provided good advice.  I knew that I wanted a stone wall around the bed in question, so she sent me pictures and pricing for two options.  When neither were quite what I envisioned, she listened to what I was describing and researched a third option, which was exactly what I wanted.  This all started late in the fall season, so the designer recommended not planting until spring.  They built the wall in the fall and then did the planting and mulching this spring.  The designer remembered the job as if six months hadn't passed, and the final results are beautiful.  I also added the second bed as a last minute thing, and she didn't bat an eye.  I feel like they did additional work over and above what I requested (pruning the hydrangea and cleaning out weeds) just because they were the right things to do.

They did an okay job, but my interactions with them were very strange and odd. I would not use them in the future, or recommend them to others.

We were not able to go through with any renovations, but they were great. I would have used them if we had gone through with plans.

They are very professional. A well known and thought of company. They do spring clean up of flower beds and clean up in the fall. They do not do anything for the lawn. They are also a nursery. You can go to them or they can come to you. They do a lot work at the Grand Hotel.

The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. I would recommend them. They were professional while they were working. They were very nice people.

All went very well. Tim Travis made use of existing burning bushes and a lilac bush, that others wanted to throw out. Tim moved them and they look fabulous. His ideas were simple yet effective. His initial price was too high, but we went to the nursery and picked out alternates. His knowledge of plants is outstanding, as is his enthusiasm for his work. The crew were punctual and put in 3 very labor-intensive days. Tim was always, only a phone call away and involved during the entire renovation. We absolutely love the results and some of the other ideas, he gave us. We would recommend Goldner Walsh, without reservation.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. I THOUGHT THAT THEIR PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I THINK THAT THE LAWN LOOKS MUCH NICER. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WORKED VERY QUICKLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IF THEY ASKED.

THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. THEY USED A WIDE VARIETY OF PLANTS AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE ATRIUM BLOOM THIS SPRING. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.
