Had our huge silver maple trees trimmed today by Spears Tree & Crane Service and would highly recommend.. Justin and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job â they were prompt, professional, courteous.. My yard looks cleaner than it did before the limbs came down. Brian worked with me on the job cost, Since it was not a 'must do now' project, I asked if the quote could be reduced if I could fit into their schedule in a 'slow time'. I waited a couple of weeks, but the job was completed within aa couple of hours.

I had to contact them four times after an agreement was made for them to do the job. They finally showed up late at night only to do a sub par job. When I contacted someone about being unable to repair my fence due to ten foot lengths of tree laying on it was told "sorry we have left the area". UPDATE: I have been contacted by the company owner who has apologized for the poor quality of work by his employee, and has offered a partial refund to help with the additional cost.

Company came out to give us a quote, which was quite reasonable, then after the trees were cut down and removed, said they could not get their stump grinder into the back yard to grind the stumps because of our fence. Hm - they were in the back yard to quote it, they should have known it then. Did not offer to come back with a portable grinder nor did they remove anything off the bill. Not good customer service in my opinion.
