They arrived on time and did the job well, but I felt that this company was a bit dishonest with respect to pricing, which is why their grade was lower than it otherwise would have been. The plumbers that came out were really helpful and did an excellent job, but the price was so much more than they estimated on the phone, the grade had to be reduced. I would have appreciated knowing that there would have been 2 people showing up for the job and the time estimate should have been more appropriate. When I called to get an estimate, they mentioned that cost would be $80/hour with drive time to and from my house being charged. I thought this was strange, but since the business was 11 minutes (per Google maps) drive from my house, I accepted this based on their other estimates. They said the job would probably take 1-2 hours and would require about $70 in parts (about $50 for the frost free spigot and $20 for the regular). I mentally added about $10 for miscellaneous plumbing parts as well. So I was expecting the job to cost $250 at most and maybe $300 if some unforeseen issue came up, but all the plumbing was copper in pretty good shape, fully exposed, and easily accessible so I thought this unlikely. A plumber arrived with his apprentice soon after calling to say they were on the way. After explaining the job, they got to work, completed the job and showed me their work, which was well done. When they gave me the bill I was a bit shocked, however. They charged me $106 for parts, but I understood why about $20 more was added so parts ended about being only a tiny bit more than expected. Then they charged me $300 for labor. $80/hour for the plumber and $40/hour for the apprentice for 2.5 total hours. So they essentially charged me $120/hour for a length of time that they said they would be charging me $80/hour for. I probably would not have agreed to this job if I would have known that I would be paying this much.

It was very easy to make an appointment. Dan arrived on time and did an excellent job. The new pipping of the kitchen sink was finished with a very excellent quality. I will use their service again.

Responsive, professional, overall great service. Found very small leak in piping and fixed. Also solved problem with sump pump and made prevention recommendations. Very satisfied. Their pricing we thought was very reasonable.

Job done very well and in a timely manner. Daniel did an amazing job working with my 85 year old mother and making her feel comfortable.

Cummings Plumbing was on time....professional....and with a couple additional parts fixed the leaking showerheads like new. Would definitely call them back.

I called in the am and explained what the issue was. I was given pricing up front with the two choices to choose from. I was able to get an appointment the same day with no surcharge. The technician actually came earlier that I expected and was done in about 20 min. I was happy with the customer service as well as with the technician who was very professional and got the job done fast.

Dan and Nick successfully removed the faulty valve and replaced it with two new ones. Unfortunately, I needed two because the original configuration wasn’t code.

Dan was very patient, he had to do a lot of up and down stairs. And he even fixed something that was not on the plan. Very nice and thoughtful. Thank you Dan!

The supply line valve started leaking and we could not get it to stop. I am handicapped so could not fix it myself.Have used Cummings Plumbing before and was very satisfied so we called them again. They showed up when they said they would and things went very smoothly. Dan, the plumber who did the work was very professional and did the work efficiently and completely. He not only is a good plumber but was very cordial and polite. Would definitely call Cummings Plumbing again if I am ever in need of plumbing work again.

The installation went perfectly. Dennis and Nick arrived early, were very professional, and performed the work and clean up in short order. I would definitely call Cumming's Plumbing again.

Dennis came out to diagnose and fix our faucet exactly in the time-frame which was specified. He was extremely courteous and thorough in finding the problem with our faucet. He had to make trip back to the shop to get the correct part, but was back in less than ten minutes. He thoroughly checked for any other leaks. A great service call. I would highly recommend Cumming's Plumbing. They have become my plumbers of choice!

This morning, I had every homeowner's worst nightmare: A water pipe had burst in the basement! I immediately shut off the main water main and knew I would want to get the pipe repaired as soon as possible to restore water service to my home. I went on to Angie's list for recommendations and found Cumming's Plumbing. They had an A rating and hundreds of customer reviews (I read many of the recent ones) so I felt confident when I called. When I called I spoke with a real live person and explained my urgent situation. This was at 11:31 AM. She told me that she could get someone out to my home between 12 pm and 3 pm this afternoon. She also provided me a quote on their hourly rate and explained how I would be charged. Dennis arrived at 12:42 PM! He was professional and courteous. He used shoe guards so as not to track snow into the house. He located the problem quickly and explained to me what he was going to do to solve it. Dennis worked quickly and efficiently to repair the pipe and spigot that lead to the outside. He made sure to test the repair educated on how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. He presented me with an invoice and thanked me for the business. Cumming's Plumbing solved my problem as quickly as I could have hoped for! The pricing is fair. The only criticism that I would have is that they charge the full labor rate for driving to and from the location. I believe that charging half the labor rate for drive time would be more equitable. However, that is my only criticism and I will now call Cumming's Plumbing if I ever need plumbing help again! You have my unqualified recommendation!

Dennis performed the work efficiently and high quality. He also performed trouble shooting on an issue with the toilet flushing properly. Calcium buildup is the root of that issue.

Dennis did a great job he was very professional and explained things as he was going. I will definitely have them back for any plumbing needs.

Not well. $150 to be told it was tile issue (15 minutes, no longer). Didn't even remove cover for good view of drain. No recourse.

Great! Nancy is very friendly and helpful on the phone and Brad is friendly, informative and helpful. He called ahead to say he was on the way and did a great job. We highly recommend Cumming’s Plumbing and Brad is the plumber who has come to our home three times. He is very professional.

Daniel was done in less than an hour, worked quietly, was pleasant, and the faucet looks and works great! The price was right, too - very reasonable. Cumming Plumbing is a winner in our book!
