It went.great. The owner and his serviceman were very nice and did a thorough job cleaning the AC and running test on it.

While I did not go with this company for the job, it had more to do with the complexity of my new system, and the brand of furnace that Patriot recommended.  However, Keith was entirely professional, gave me a written quote on the spot, and seemed totally willing to work with whichever direction I wanted to take the job (partial vs. complete gut and reinstall of the ducting system).  I would totally trust him to do work in my home in the future.

I contacted several heating and cooling places about my furnace replacement, including the company that had performed work for me in the past.   Then a trusted family member recommended Keith at Patriot Plumbing and Heating.   I called and Keith answered his phone personally and was able to schedule a timely visit.
He was prompt and not only was his estimate less than the other estimate I had received, he gave me solid reasons for why he made the recommendations he did.   We were able to schedule a service date within a week.   The new installation required some retrofitting and they did a beautiful job.    His workers kept their work area clean and also cleaned up after finishing.  Keith personally worked with them and supervised them - and - he even put up a quick coat of fresh paint behind the old furnace before the new one was installed.   
I would highly recommend talking to Keith at Patriot Heating and Cooling before making a final decision on who to work with for your heating and cooling needs. 

They are reasonably priced and always have nice personnel. They let my husband supervise and talk to them while they work. They always responde quickly if we have any problems. You don't feel like they're out to get you and stick you with more work/money.

They got back to me with options and an estimate very quickly. They beat other companies prices by $1000 or more. They got to work the next week. They showed up on time. They finished in 3 days. They were very careful not to make a mess of the house while they were working. They covered the carpet with plastic and cardboard. They used a tray when drilling the ceiling so the blown in insulation didn't go everywhere. They cleaned up when they were done, it looked great!
