The project went well from start to finish. Everyone from Armstrong that we were in contact withe through the process was kind, very helpful and professional. We had to wait a bit before the project started due to the extensive damage from the storm in our area, but they made sure the exposed roof was protected. The materials were delivered along with a debris trailer a couple days before the crew started. Sue from Armstrong called and emailed the day the crew would begin and confirmed the day before. The crew arrived right on time at 7 a.m. There were several of them, each one knowing what to do. They began by moving some potted flowers and lounge chairs out of the way and placing large tarps around my house before the removal of the old roof. We were home all day, I can say those guys work very hard. There was no standing around or coffee breaks, they broke for about an hour at lunch time. My roof was complete that afternoon ( they estimated a day and a half), and was beautiful. I was expecting them to be in a big hurry to leave, but they made sure everything was cleaned up, not a single nail or a scrap of shingle on the ground. The placed my flower pots and chairs back where they found them just the way I had them. We were impressed and extremely happy!

Bill came out to my home and gave an estimate. He came back a second time to review the replacement of skylights and he was here for the removal and installation of decking and skylights. Very professional and helpful.
Workers showed up and started to remove shingles. Completed everything is 2 days and made sure everything was picked up and placed in the dumpster. Hard working crew in the heat. Protected the plant material and removed all debris.

Their bid was about $2500 less than two other bidders. One of the others was a local firm and the other was a storm chaser, capitalizing on the hail damage found in our neighborhood. This was for the same brand and type of shingles quoted by the others. Armstrong arrived when they said the would, completed the work on time, and cleaned up completely.

The bathroom started leaking after a month. They came out right away. They said a nail came through and they would caulk it. The following summer my son looked at the roof and said the nails were popping up. Also, I had a company remodeling my family room. He noticed my chimney didn't have the proper flashing or tar installed. He fixed it for me. I called Armstrong to come look at it and they said because I had someone else fix it, they would not fix it and my warranty was voided. I paid extra for a 40 year warranty. 9 years later we put on a whole new roof.

Excellent service. Leo was here on time & very knowledgeable as to where the problem was coming from and fixed it within an hour. Will definitely use Armstrong again for any roofing needs!!!

Everything went fine except they set there ladder on a gutter and smashed it. They tried to fix it but it did not work. Called to tell them they left something on the roof, was going to tell them about the gutter when they came out. Of corse they came when we were gone so I called to them but they never showed up. The problem is we do not have a ladder big enough to reAch the gutter so now we have a water fall until we pay someone to fix it.

Excellent job. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it and at a fair price. Some glitches due to hidden weirdness in the old house didn't throw them....everything came out well. The trim work on the windows and the overall workmanship appears very nice.

When the colony of ants was discovered, the two-man team from Armstrong tore out the infested wood, Insectech sprayed to get rid of the ants and Armstrong returned and rebuilt the entire area.
Finally, $550 was the original bid compared to that of another provider which was $1400. However, due to the devastation wrought by the carpenter ants, and since the project was completed only today so I don't yet have the adjusted total, I suspect that the final cost of service will exceed the original quote of $550.

They were backlogged by a week when I called- so I had to wait, but when they did finally call me while I was out running errands, they were waiting for me when I got home. They located and diagnosed the problems in less than an hour and repaired them right then. They explained what the problems were and what they did to remedy the issues. Everything is is fixed. I appreciated the fact that they waited to bill me until an appropriate amount of time had passed (in order to allow for some heavy rain to make its way through) to make sure the roof leaks were indeed repaired. I would definitely call them again for any other work I may need.

They were on time, courteous, CLEAN!, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. They fixed a few things we had not known were wrong and changed the price for only one item and I completely agreed with the price change (you cannot know what is behind a wall until you remove the wall). They were thorough professionals.

They got it done quickly. They actually did it 99.90% done in one day. They tear it down and put in a new roof. They did a great job cleaning up. They're friendly. They came out with a full crew. They started early in the morning and by evening, they were done. I'm very pleased with what they did and they showed up on time. They stuck to their estimate. I think they were a little more expensive than some but given what they did and how quickly they did it, I would say their price was an A. I could have went to somebody cheaper but I might have had to wait 'til the next snow fall or something like that. Their price is subjective. They had enough people and experienced people. Everybody had a job. They were putting down shingles on one side of the house while they were still roofing off on the other. They told us no tarps and that they won't leave us with a half done roof and they did not. They got the whole thing done in one day so I didn't have to worry about that. They returned all calls and everything. They were very professional and polite.

We contacted Armstrong first originally, due to a family recommendation. We received four other bids on our roof, and Armstrong was the most reasonable in cost and labor. The gentleman, Don, who came out to do the quote was extremely helpful and explained everything very well. Once we mailed our signed contract with our shingle choice, we were scheduled for the following Monday. On Monday morning, the crew showed up early, prompt, and ready to work. It was a bit chaotic at first, due to the shingles being delivered, and the dumpster being delivered that morning as well. However, once that was all set, the guys got to work immediately. Our roof took a total of 3 days time to complete. On the second day, the guys worked almost 12 hours straight to get as much as they could done, due to the nasty storm that was coming to our area that evening. On the third and final day, they completed the roof, did a great job cleaning up around our home, and followed up with my husband so that he could see what was done. The dumpster was picked up the very next day.Sue, the woman you will talk to on the phone, visited our home personally afterwards to go over the paperwork and look over the job to make sure it was done properly. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

They repaired a siding problem which had existed since the house was built. When they examined my house after i described the leak in our family room, they quickly identified the problem. The house is 18 years old. They estimated the cost to replair, scheduled and completed the work promptly. There cost estimate was excellent. I got three estimates for a new roof and all were within $500 of each other. Armstrong was highly recommended to me from a friend. I also checked Angie's List for reviews - Armstrong had excellent ratings! The service was excellent throughout the whole job from beginning to end. My husband did extensive research on roofing companies before he chose Armstrong Enterprises, Inc. to do the job. He made the right selection. Armstrong was professional, punctual, and very personable. The hard-working crew did a great job. We liked the fact that Armstrong does not subcontract the crew. They are employed directly by Armstrong. Don Armstrong was a great foreman. He didn't cut corners and he made sure that the job was done right. He complied with our requests and even did some things that were unexpected and very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Armstrong to any one who needs a new roof and who wants the job done right.
