well, considering hidden problems we had suspected but had put off. We feel very confident in the reliability of his work. We will have him back again to help with other projects we've put off.

This water heater was "running too rich" and needed cleaning, Haley's quoted me $135 to come out and clean it.
Keep in mind it was operating fine. After he was there for a while, he
called me and said he needed another part (they charge for the time
spent driving, too, of course) then he called back and said "you need a
new hot water heater." It was working fine before he got there, now I
had to buy a new heater and his bill was $231 for NOTHING. I told them before hiring them, I can get a new hot water heater for under $400, so I don't want to put a lot of money into this. I wound up owing them $231, almost a$100 over their bid, and my water heater was no longer functional, so I had to then buy a new one.
