Ever since the lengthy power outage that our area experienced last December, electrical contractors in this region have been swamped for work. Thus, on our to-do list since last winter was getting our house wired such that we could run the whole house off of our portable generator in the event of another power failure. We really started pursuing this task in earnest towards the end of summer, figuring most of the electricians would have gotten caught up on their backlog of jobs. We found that it was still very difficult to get anybody to return our calls or come out and give us an estimate for the work.
Lenon Electric quickly responded to our initial inquiry call and sent Patrick out in a matter of days to provide us with an estimate. Their estimate was substantially lower than other companies we had dealt with. They provided us with a detailed quote showing specific hardware that would be used. Once we decided to have Lenon do the work, we were able to schedule the job with very little lead time.
With a crew of three guys on the job, our install was also fast and painless. In under an hour, they had our panel reconfigured, the inlet installed in our garage, and instructed me in how to use the new install. We did a dry run and had the house running off of our generator in no time.
I highly recommend the team at Lenon Electric and would not hesitate to have them come back for future jobs.
