The original bid was 9,000 dollars. We were okay with this. We understood that it may rise a little when he had to replace the bad wood. The price then doubled to just under 18,000.Needless to say we won't be using them again.

We were communicating via long-distance because this is a vacation home. The process went amazingly well. We did have some miscommunications regarding costs, but those were resolved. The quality of work and the professionalism were exceptional. We would highly recommend this contractor.
