The Cleaning Authority - Oxford

I am so pleased.  4 girls came to my 3,400 sq ft home plus 1,100 sq ft basement and cleaned it from top to bottom in less than an hour!  They were professional, friendly and efficient.  Not only did they work fast,  but they left my home perfectly cleaned.  They even made beds and folded my bathroom towels and neatly hung them on the bars.  That was not discussed as part of the cleaning service, so it was a bonus.  I am completely amazed with how well they did.  I even shared the company page on Facebook.  I did let the girls know how happy I was with their service before they left and called the office to let them know they have great workers.  I would recommend The Cleaning Authority to anyone in need of cleaning services.  The price is so reasonable and they do great work!  

The lack of  quality/detailed cleaning has been an issue for me from the start.  I have made calls and tried to be patient with the service.  However, yesterday was the final straw.  The service was supposed to send someone out on 4/16 to give us a quote on the additional area and they did not come.  Additionally, Cleaning Authority was here yesterday to clean and they continually do the minimum amount (extremely superficial cleaning).  They do not move things around to dust under (ie..jewelry box, pictures, etc).  They have not been dusting wood floors under furniture, or the top of the refrigerator, or even the bases of toilet paper holders/bathroom scale.  If you want your house cleaned, DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Workers very careless -walls marked with black marks from vacuuming handle repeatedly hitting the walls even after being told over and over to be careful. Then they used an eraser on all the marks leaving large oil like stains on several walls. I requested that the owner/supervisor to please come and see what happened. He would not. The walls need to be painted. They also chipped paint off the corners of walls; sprayed the microwave to clean the face of it and shorted out the touchpad. The cleaning itself was spotty. VERY UNHAPPY. The level of care by the workers and management was disappointing. This was the Plymouth-Canton franchise.

They seem to be reliable and efficient. They do a good job with the cleaning but we never really know when they are coming. Well, we know that they will come in the afternoon until the day before they come and then it just varies a lot from between 12:00 and 2:00 and then the last time that they came, it was between 3:00 and 5:00. That is just not as handy so their hours should be more consistent but they come when they say that they are going to.

They list things that they did but it is not accurate. If they did all those things, it would be great. For example, when they do a "deep clean" they say they wipe the kitchen cabinets and baseboards. No way did they do that. Certain bedrooms look like they have never been dusted in 6 months.

It went VERY WELL. It was the initial cleaning which took a lot of extra time. The two women cleaned for about 4.5 hours each. My house has never looked so clean. The first two initial cleanings cost $139.00 each. The regular bi-weekly cost is $84.00. I feel that the pricing is very fair. Both women were very professional and pleasant, and they worked very hard. I am totally satisfied and happy that I found the Cleaning Authority!

the team of two spent over one hour in a small stand up bathroom...when they moved to another area I went to see what had taken so long...well, it wasn't cleaning, the bathroom was superficially cleaned. the mirror was not touched, around the toilet was not properly cleaned, the walls were not wiped and the floor was given a quick once over. After wiping it with a white cloth, dirt was showing. In the kitchen same problem. a stainless steel refrigerator was left with smudges, the floor was also just damp mopped, I was charged for detailed cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen areas. In the foyer, the railing was not dusted and the cleaning was superficial with areas missed altogether. After they left, I had to go over their work to clean up what they had missed. Not what I expected.

My next cleaning was not as good; from there it went down hill, the bathtubs were left dirty as we're the sinks. There were different cleaners every time they came to the house, very inconsistent .

We have been using the Cleaning Authority for several months now. They are a little more expensive than our previous cleaner, but it has been worth it. They show up with a professional team, on time, every other week. No worry about last minute cancellations. They get right to work and do a great job. I like the idea that I can call to have them back if something is not done to my satisfaction, but so far that has not been necessary. I have been so much happier using the Cleaning Authority than with any other cleaning service we have used. And although they are more expensive than the independent cleaner we were using, they are much more reasonable than some of the other services I contacted for a quote.

I do not hesitate to refer this company to my family and friends....and one great thing about referrals is that if someone I suggest actually employs this cleaning service....I get a FREE clean the next time!!!!

There was a costly, "first time" cleaning fee and both cleaners sent did a good job. Subsequent cleanings went less well as both dusting and floors were just partially done. Tables would only be dusted, even if one could see that a spill needed to be removed with a damp cloth first. Noticable dirt was collecting at the edges of large area rugs and the fringes were getting tangled and dirty. I complained and Mike said he would send someone back to make it right, which was nice of him, but we were leaving on vacation so we declined and just asked that they not be in such a rush and do a better job on subsequent visits. Unfortunately the work deteriorated more until we decided we'd have to find someone else. Certainly part of the problem had been the sending of so many different cleaners, both trained and untrained.

They have done all that was asked in an efficient manner, and are dependable.

They are very good and reliable. They are very flexible with scheduling. They are very quick.

I was very happy, at first, that they were able to schedule a first-time visit on a Friday at relatively short notice (less than a week). However, they were unable to give me a time due to their busy schedule. Scheduler said they would call, but the day before, no call came. I called and got a time-frame for the visit. Two women came to clean. One is supposedly a supervisor/quality control manager. The "supervisor" exclaimed loudly to the other one that she wasn't informed of an additional bathroom (this had already been detailed with the phone scheduler). The rudeness was embarrassing to me and my guest. Within 1 1/4 hours, the manager pronounced they were finished. She handed me a checklist of completed procedures. The bathroom and upstairs floors were filthy - dusty, hair. I asked her if she had washed the floors. She said she would take care of it(I had requested the floors to be washed when scheduling). At least she could have vacuumed or swept to make it look like she had cleaned. I called to complain and was told I would get a call back. None came.

I have been using their services for two or three years now. They are very personable, do an excellent job, are thorough and dependable. They come over every other week and two to three people come when they do. They bring their own supplies and they are quick but thorough.
