These guys we great! Honest, efficient, fun & friendly. This was a long distance, in state move. Waterford to Traverse City. They showed up on time, they were careful with my belongings, polite and respectful. Being a single female with little experience hiring a moving company I was very cautious. I got a couple of quotes, but when I met John for him to quote the job I was put at ease. He just seemed like a good guy, and that’s just what he and his crew turned out to be. If I ever need to hire a moving company again, Personal Touch will be the only call I make. The price was right & the job was done well. Highly recommend!

It went perfect. John gave us a very accurate and fair estimate. Shawn, Joe, and their Michigan crew did an awesome job loading our possessions. They were all very friendly, polite, and professional. Took a lot of care to protect our stuff for the move. Shawn and Joe then arrived at our new home when they promised, and brought all of it in quickly and carefully. These guys are definitely pros and take a lot of care and pride in their work. HIGHLY recommended.

This company was top notch, easily the best movers I've worked with. From planning to execution, they were prompt, professional and efficient. We ran into some issues with getting into a tight downtown Chicago spot with their large truck, but it worked out great. Would highly recommend.

Their service was excellent. We put most of the small stuff in boxes. They handled the big items. It took them just a couple of hours to clear the house. They covered all the floor and stairs with runners, and we're really careful moving big items out of tight ares and the basement. The loaded everything into one van and protected everything with padded blankets. Due to difficulties in closing our house they had to hang on to our goods for a week and a hold before we could move into our new place. There was even a false start where they were on the road to Kalamazoo to deliver and I had to call up and cancel. They took everything in stride, and when they finally could deliver it was a Sunday, but there was no extra charge. The overall cost was very reasonable considering they had to store and tie up a van for several days. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I first contacted the company after my builder delayed the delivery of my house and I needed a mover that could store items.  I called and no problem, they had extra trailers for the summer for just this reason.  Then I called back 2 days prior to needing to vacate my prior home and it was a crisis since all their trailers were out of state.  However, they did show up on the Friday and pack up my house.  They forgot to pack several items, including the bike from the garage that I reminded them of 3 times.  But, OK, I took care of that. 

Then, they show up to deliver the items to my new house.  Everything was a complaint.  They could not take stuff downstairs, they could not take items upstairs, they made me remove light fixtures.  I provided the team with drinks even though I had no refrigerator and yet they left their personal drinks all over the yard and garage.  Furniture was not unwrapped.  The one mover left his cell phone on the other truck and charged me the 20 minutes he looked for it even though we called it, rather than his fellow movers, and found it.  He also tried to charge me for 2 hours of additional labor  that they were not even at the house for and argued that it was 6:30 pm when it was 4:30 pm.  One barrister's bookcase was loaded on the truck upside down and damaged the top.  I was told it would be repaired but over 2 weeks and still waiting for first contact.  And they charged me 1 1/2 hours of travel time, even though the agreement was for 1 hour.  And they lost items............  no acknowledgement.

This move went perfect!  I was so stress with the relocation from my company and the rules for payment, Personal Touch Moving was FANTASTIC.  They were able to work with my short notice, my company's budget, and bill direct.  
I am still unpacking, but nothing was broken.  All my items are accounted for.  I did not use them to pack, but I was a little behind and John and Grant helped me pack what was left and brought some supplies because I ran out.  Great guys, handled my property with care.
On the delivery in Illinois, my items came on a very professional looking Semi.  The 3 gentleman that brought my items in were so nice and thoughtful on where they put my items.  They set up my desk and bed for me.  
I received their information from Mary at Premier Storage in Lake Orion, MI.  She was right....Fantastic.

My experience with them was excellent.  The cost included both packing and transportation.  They just remained consistent with me in personal touch.  They were friendly and professional.  They did everything right.  They were there for us and responded to all our requests.  They were just excellent.  I got another quote from somebody else and they were twenty five percent cheaper than the others so their price was very good.

The teams provided by John included a packer and movers who worked very hard over three days.  They were on time each day and were helpful, focused and professional.
The movers "weathered" multiple sections of stairs split tower on the inside and 2 out (up the hill) and wind chills off the lake of up to -20.  Impressive, HARD workers, every one!  
Joe and Kenny arrived 15 min. early on the day they promised to arrive.  Still unpacking....more details later!

The move was exemplary. It could not have been better. They showed up exactly when they said they would be there. They treated my things as if they were fine antiques. They wrapped everything. They told me that my things would arrive either Monday or Tuesday, called to keep me updated on the process. They couldn't have been more respectful. Everything was above board. Not one thing was broken or scratched and I got a wonderful rate. It was just really, really amazing. I would recommend this company to anybody!

The price they charged was close to the estimate they gave. They did a good job. They were on time and kept in communication with us. Even when we had to make some changes they were very accommodating.
