Performance Painting & Staining

After being burned about a year ago by a very disreputable painter, we were leery of hiring another one. We needn’t have worried! Greg from Performance Painting absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way! He is the best tradesman we’ve ever hired to work on our home.. by far! He did exactly what he said he was going to do & then some.. & he finished on time & under budget! He was punctual, extremely non-disruptive (still trying to figure out how he worked so quietly lol), & very kind. He was an absolute joy to have in our home. And his work is FLAWLESS. We could not be happier with the job that was done. We will be using Greg & Performance Painting for ALL our future paint needs. And we’ve already recommended him to a few people!

We hired Greg to paint most of the common living areas in our house to prepare for a party we were having.  Greg worked with us to get the painting done in time for the party, despite his busy schedule.  He was punctual, detail-oriented and professional.  Both Greg and his assistant, Brad, went out of their way to ensure we had a positive experience.
Greg also assisted in giving us suggestions for paint finishes and suggested we use the Sherwin-Williams paint service to get help selecting paint colors.  We were very happy with the results and Greg is the first contractor we've had in our house in which we had no complaints about the work or service.
We're having him come back in the Fall, when his pricing drops (summer pricing is higher due to higher demand) to paint 2 other rooms and to finish painting the doors and trim he hasn't already tackled.  I'd recommend him highly for any painting work.

Although this was a little outside his normal scope, he did a great job with it.  Mr. Herron is a first class professional with great attention to detail.  Upon request, he offered us the benefit of his years of experience in making a choice on basic or matching colors.  He was always on time with a timely notification of a change in plans.   We received a discount for being flexible and scheduling the work during his lower demand winter season.   His clean up was first rate with no visible sign remaining of his having been there except beautifully painted walls and ceilings.  I felt we received great value for what we paid.  I am glad to provide my highest recommendation for Performance Painting and Greg Herron.

Greg, the owner, is very professional as are all of the people that worked on both the outside and inside painting. The cost was very comeptitve and the workmanship superb. Greg is a detail guy. They did such a good job on our interior in 2010 that we used them again for the outside painting in 2012. We have one more painting project left and will use them again. I would recommend them to anyone.

We purchased the home and needed someone to paint the living room right away so carpet could be installed. Greg and his company made the extra effort to work us into their schedule. They did such a great job on the family room that we asked Greg if he could also paint the living room. Again, he accommodated our short-notice request. The rooms turned out beautiful. Throughout the whole process Greg and his staff were friendly, professional, and thorough. We will be hiring Greg again to
paint other rooms in the near future. Bottom Line: You won't regret hiring this company.

Greg met with us prior to performing work to look at the space and to provide us an estimate for this bathroom, as well as painting the main living areas, trim and doors for our house.  He was thorough in describing how he and his team performs their work, their attention to appropriate surface preparation and their cleanliness throughout the job.   Greg was great about working with me to suggest appropriate paint brands and why he recommends the products he uses. 

He was great about fitting in our master bathroom project (a half day job) between other, larger jobs he was in the midst of, due to my desire to have the last step in our bathroom renovation completed.  We left a key for him and when I came home from work that day, I arrived to a beautifully finished master bathroom. 

We will be hiring Performance Painting again this winter to complete the painting of the main parts of our house, once we finish some work in our kitchen.

Greg's attention to detail, professionalism, and communication were great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a painter.  We've had other painters in our house in the past and Performance Painting has outshone the others we've hired - great prices and excellent work.

I would highly recommend them to others. The guy who came was really professional and the prices were great. He was extremely neat. He was a very personable and a real nice guy. He told me what he was doing. We tried painting those two walls first and we could not get them right. They were able to come down here and tell me what I was doing wrong. We had them do the work they and everything turned out to be really good. I would rate them high overall.
