If you are considering to hire this piano moving company, I strongly recommend to read the following about my experience (all facts without any opinion): - JP piano moving is a very small business (one owner and 4 employees). We'd never heard of them and solely hired them at the recommendation of Steinway Piano Gallery as we had purchased our piano from the gallery. We needed to move our piano out of state as we were relocating. - piano was picked up and we were given the option of either having it moved along another customer's piano or separately. We opted for the former as it was slightly less expensive. - there was no receipt, inspection sheet, or any paperwork whatsoever at pick up. - we contacted to follow-up in a few weeks and they didn't even know they had already picked up the piano and after our reminder, they said "sorry, had forgotten to update the spreadsheet"! - there was radio silence for a few more weeks and when we followed up, they said "the other customer is building a house which is delayed and we'll deliver your when the build is completed". - After many emails and calls, we eventually agreed to pay more to deliver our piano separately. - received an email that the van will leave on Saturday and the piano will arrive Saturday evening or Sunday morning - the driver called Friday night that he decided to leave early and will actually arrive Saturday morning - we re-arranged our weekend plans to be home Saturday morning. No piano or calls on Saturday AM, so, we called the driver at 11 AM and he was cranky that we woke him up! He said "I was not able to get a room till 6:30 AM and was getting some rest". - The piano was delivered Saturday afternoon. The above was just the factual and chronological details of my experience. You be the judge and decide wisely for yourself! My opinion though: I am happy the piano was delivered in one piece. Do yourself a favor and hire a reputable company with professionals!

Wow! I have never gotten such great service! My piano was very large and very old and was coming from 2000 miles away. It was a long trip and they kept me updated the whole time. They took such great care of my piano. We've had a couple of companies move the piano and they have by far handle the piano best. There is an a lot of skill involved in moving such a large, delicate piano and they did it perfectly. And they did it for a great price. Great company!
