The actual replacement of garage floor was good. They did NOT leave the job site better than it was prior to the start of the project. They did not clean up at all. Left cement all over the mop boards, shelves and flooring. They walked all over my deck (no problem there) left 'cement footprints' and did NO clean up of their mess. They claimed to remove the stains on the driveway & porch, but the imprint of the door mat on the porch is still there. The drive way shows where they used the power-washer wand, but failed to remove the stains. Very negative when finalizing the contract. Would NOT use again.

This company went the extra mile for us. They leveled my front sidewalk, graded my drive and brought in some top soil for along my new patio. They showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate in using them again.

Sara came out on September 10th to discuss the work we wanted done and provide an estimate. She was very friendly and seemed extremely professional. She gave us a rough estimate of $18,000 for the work we wanted done, which we thought was fair. We called her a few days later (September 14th) to inform her that we would like to go with her. She indicated that she would prepare a written quote for us at that time. We also sent across some paperwork that needed to be completed for our bank loan, as we were having multiple renovation projects at the same time as part of a refinance. As of today, October 6th, we still have not heard back from Sara. Both my wife and I have called and left multiple voice messages, as well as sent emails to her with no response. Unfortunately the holdup of receiving the quote and paperwork from JBRC has delayed all the rest of our renovation projects, as the bank requires all paperwork before allowing any work to start. Three weeks (this is the start of the 4th week) of absolutely no contact and response to any of our queries is completely unacceptable. We're now behind the metaphorical eight-ball, as we need to move forward with the other renovations before winter starts and won't have time to secure another contractor for this work in time. Update10/26/2015 in response to JBRC Concrete response: I wanted to take a moment to respond to the response that Sara from JBRC posted in regard to my original review, as we felt it was incredibly misleading. The "forms" she is mentioning are standard boilerplate refinancing forms from the bank, basically asking a description of the work, the quote, their license number showing they are licensed, and a copy of said license. As to not having the "funds available", Sara was informed prior to coming out that we were refinancing our house to perform approximately 150K in renovations, including geothermal and solar installations, bathroom remodeling, and the stamped concrete patio. As part of a renovation refinance, banks require paperwork that show the contractors performing the work are licensed OR there needs to be a general contractor overseeing the work. We intentionally chose companies that were individually licensed so we did NOT require a general contractor. Not only have all our other contractors been more than willing to complete the forms, but they provided more information than was originally needed in case the bank comes back requesting additional information. Second, as to the quote I still have yet to come across any other contractor who conducts business like JBRC. When we asked for a quote and mentioned we were getting other bids (pretty standard practice for large projects), Sara stated that she didn't want to waste her time writing up a bid if we were going to go with someone else and would only provide a written quote after we had selected her. We selected her based on her verbal estimate and requested the written bid; however, we never received it. I've never dealt with another contractor that refused to provide a written bid simply because we were seeking other competing bids. The bottom line on this is that rather than picking up the phone any of the 6-8 times my wife and I called or responding to our numerous voicemails or responding to any emails, JBRC decided it would be better customer service to simply not respond in any manner. While my wife and I tried endlessly to reach JBRC to find out the status, Sara did not respond in kind. If Sara would have just responded and stated that she wasn't interested in performing the work, then no problem we'd move on to the next contractor. By refusing to answer it ended up stringing us along and caused us to miss our installation window for this year, ultimately delaying this project until the spring now. Poor customer service on the part of the company is not acceptable, and I felt that "passing the blame" to the customer was unprofessional and incredibly misleading. Return phone calls and emails, that's simple customer service.

They even helped with suggestions They showed up on time and worked every day until the job was complete. Easy people to work with and very accommodating to making changes. They even helped with suggestions on how to design the project. I would use them again if I need more cement work. I have received many complements on how nice the drive and stamped concrete look.

It worked out okay. We compared them to three others and their price was a B. Their quality was good. If needed, I would use them in the future.

From beginning to end, this company was great. My husband had tried calling 2 other companies to get quotes, because we like to always compare prices. The other companies didn't even want to come out and give a quote because the job wasn't "big enough" for them. The one company who did after a long time give us a quote came out $800 higher than JBRC. Sara who originally came out to the look at our porch quickly responded to our voice mail. She was able to get out right away to give us a quote and to show us different options. She was very responsive to our questions. They started a week after we told them we wanted to go with them. Her husband and his crew did an awesome job. They even tore out some extra bushes we asked for, for no additional cost (and moved our sprinkler head). They were done within a few days. We absolutely love our porch. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a reliable company!
