Stay FAR AWAY from C&C Pools!!!!! We have a pool that needed resurfaced because the kids were cutting their feet at the bottom. The salesperson who came out last year said when it was complete it would be ?smooth as butter? which is why we decided to go with them, even though they had a wait. Fast forward to this year, they came out to do it and we felt it was still very rough. Called the owner, who clearly does not care about customer service, who answered ?yeah?, no hello, no I?m sorry, just to call the service dept. Waited for them to come out, which meant having to open our pool about a month later than usual. They came out and said it was good to go so we filled it. The FIRST day my girls and friends were in the pool their toes were all scratched, hurting and almost bleeding. They have an entirely new staff, no one wants to help they threatened legal action if the bill wasn?t paid. I pay all of my bills in full and on time, but what was promised to us was NOT done.

If you want CC Pools to build your pool, it's ok, but DO NOT use them for anything else!!! I called them after our opening this spring (which they charge almost $400) for something that they did not do. Not a big deal, so I told them it was no hurry, just stop by whenever it was convenient. Over 3 weeks later, they stopped and finished what should have been done during opening. Sweet, our pool is finally up and running properly, well at least until they sent me an additional bill for a service call for almost $200!!! Are you kidding me! CC Pools service has become HORRIBLE! They have always been, a little slow to respond to service calls, but now they are flat out overcharging. Extremely disappointed!!!

We arranged to have CC pools re-plaster our pool and spa using  CLI Sunstone aggregate.  We also had them replace our pool cover.  The entire experience was and continues to be an unmitigated disaster.
Spa:  Following the refinishing of the spa, it wouldn't hold water.  It dropped about 1/4 of an inch per hour.  After trying for months to locate the leak, they re-plastered the spa.  It still didn't hold water, but it leaked at a somewhat slower rate.  They called "American Leak Detection".  They pressure checked the lines-no problems found.  No leaks detected.  Then they used an epoxy paint.  It looked terrible and they had to redo that as well.  All while this was going on, one of their employees "Ryan" had the gall to ask to one of the carpenters working on my house (who happened to be my friend) how they could work with homeowners like us.  Said we were "picky"--as if asking for a spa that doesn't leak is "picky".  After the spa was repainted, the water still drops, but slowly.  I don't have any faith that they have the ability to fix this problem.  In the end, we paid for an expensive refinishing and ended up with a painted spa that leaks.
Pool:  The pool has a horrible discoloration throughout.  There is a line along the edge of the wall at the floor--all the way around the pool.  There is also a 4' wide strip of discoloration in front of the stairs.  It lines up exactly where they started/stopped when spreading out the CLI aggregate.  First they went around the outsides walls, stopping at the floor, then they worked on the floor from the deep end to the stairs, then the stairs, then the strip in front of the stairs where they stood on while working on the stairs.  The lines match exactly the stages of the install.  The discoloration looks horrible.  It has been this way since day 1--we have pictures before the water was added--the lines are perfectly visible.  They said it would go away after a year.  It hasn't changed one bit.  A contractor saw the finish and asked what happened to the pool--said it looked like we had to patch a problem.  I said  "no, it is a new plaster job"--to which they made that "yikes, that isn't good" face.  As we tried to get them to fix this problem--CCs would ignore us for weeks at a time.  Then we'd get a bit of information and then again we'd be ignored for weeks.  At one point Craig Caster, the owner, said the discoloration was because they used different color batches--which is completely against manufacturer install guidelines--for exactly this reason.  If they must use different color batches, they're supposed to mix it all together at once to ensure the color is even.  Then they backtracked from that and called the CLI representative.  After many months, the CLI rep finally came out and said this was either a product issue or an install issue.  Decided he wanted to try an "alkaline treatment" and would send CC Pools instructions.  CC Pools never called.  I called them 3 times only to finally have them say that CLI is going to give ME the instructions to do the treatment myself.  As if it is my responsibility to fix their problems.  Regardless, i called CLI to get these instructions in case it was easy--but they won't return phone calls or emails.  It's been a month.  Nothing.
Install issues:
(1)  When they filled my pool, one of the employees apparently turned off one of the pool actuators causing the suction to remain turned to the pool side and the outflow to the spa.  Result?  The 15000 gallon pool drains INTO the tiny spa.  Flooded my pool room, water got into my HVAC system and flooded my basement.  They denied responsibility, of course.
(2)  We paid extra to make sure they cleaned the pool room (it's an indoor pool).  Needless to say, the cleaning job was horrible.  We spent nearly 8+ hours cleaning up the mess after both re-plastering jobs (since they re-plastered the spa twice).
(3) The pool cover wasn't adjusted properly and the electrical ground wasn't bonded properly (which is a safety issue).  Took months to have them finally fix that.
Conclusion:  CC Pools came highly recommended, but I'm still trying to figure out why.  Even when they messed with the plumbing, leaks always seemed to result.  They did very little correctly.  Sure, they tried to make everything right with the spa (even though they ultimately failed), but they've completely tried to dodge responsibility on this discoloration issue.  We understand everyone makes mistakes--but the difference between a true professional and terrible contractor is whether they do what it takes to make it right.  CC Pools has not made it right and seems content in trying to avoid us in hopes that we'd give up.  This isn't over and we will do whatever it takes to make sure this is fixed and everyone knows what can happen if they hire this company.

Everything went fine. The job was done in one day, and the crew was professional and knowledgeable. I had reserved a spot in their schedule last year, and they contacted me in March. The job was done in May and we were swimming right away. They had a water truck pump in most of the water, and then I filled it the rest of the way and opened the pool myself.
About the plumbing - I have an old heater that works fine, but the plumbing fittings are different and I just couldn't make it work without leaking. They fixed all that, and everything works great now.

Our project was completed just as promised. The yard was kept clean during build. The crew was great to my children as they stood sometimes over their shoulders and asked tons of questions. Craig the owner was here everyday of the build. It could not have went better!

Did a good job with the explanation of pool operation. Got the pool cleared up - it's now blue. Gave me a good recommendation on a local pool supply shop. I liked these guys.
