About us
We are located in Otisville, Mi. We have 5 employees that have all been with Mark Martin & Sons, Inc. for 5 years or more. Our M-DOT Pit number is 25-032. We are the preferred vendor for Tuscola County Road Commission and The Genesee County Road Commission, as we produce their calcium chloride road sand, for the harsh Michigan winters. We also supply Genesee County Parks and Rec with their beach sand, for Buttercup Beach. We strive everyday to buy supplies and materials from local suppliers, and the local business communites. Mark Martin is a Trustee for Forest Township, MI and a strong supporter of Lakeville Schools. Collectively, our staff carries more than 50+ years of hands on experience in the trucking and aggregate production area of expertise. Mark Martin is also a certified Aggregate Testing Technician, through Ferris State University. We also have a complete Sand Testing Facility on site, so that any given time, Mark can test the aggregate to ensure that our material meets the A.S.T. M. (American Standard Test Method)criteria to guarantee that our material in within specification, for the materials' intended purpose.
