The house is a very old with a Gambrel roof.  The dormers were leaking and so was the roof around the chimney.  We called for an estimate in late fall / early winter and were on the books to have the roof installed the following March.  Due to the extremely cold and long winter, the installation couldn't be scheduled until April which was not a problem for us and Jim was willing to work with us to move up the date if needed.  It was a big job and was completed in 2 days.  Everyone on the crew was very professional and very easy to work with.  Everything was cleaned up and no mess was left behind.  The dormers look great and so does the new roof.

Very impressed with the crew, they did a wonderful job,and the clean up crew was amazing!  Our yard looked better than before.  Would definately recommend and would use them again.  They were on time and completed the job in one day!

We were notified ahead of actual day, to allow us to remove any items that may have been damaged die to the nature of the job.  He had us remove fragile items from the walls, as roofing affect the whole house with vibrations.
The crew kept the yard clean.  It was nice to see the mess going as fast as possible.  No big dumpster sitting in our yard for days.

Excellent job.  Looks great.  We were extremely pleased with a small job they did for us a year or so ago and that's why we had them back do this one.  Professional, precise.  A large crew worked very hard to finish the job in one day.  And we've only found one nail in the grass.

Completed job per contract and beyond dealing with some structural issues that came to light during job.  Friendly work crew and cleaned up completely when done.

They installed a new metal roof on my cabin. The price was high but with the coupon the price fell into the top/middle of the competitive bids. Very nice to work with. Very responsive to all my inquires.

This is the second time that we used Hartman as we were so impressed with their work earlier in the year. When our house was first built, the soffits weren't properly vented causing the sheathing to deteriorate over the years. It had gotten to the point where it wasn't even safe to walk on it anymore. The entire roof needed to be removed and replaced which Hartman's crew performed within a two day process. The roof now looks wonderful and with all of the ventilation that was added it should last for a good long time. Just like my previous review I couldn't have been happier with the work that Hartman performed. Cleanup was great and I feel it was a fair price for the amount of work that was performed.

The Hartman crew arrived around 8:30AM to get started and within a couple of hours they had already removed all of the old roofing and were starting to lay the new.
Work progressed very quickly even though they ran into a couple of issues that consumed quite a bit of time that they hadn't planned on. One issue was a valley that ran into the chimney which could have been a potential area for leaks to occur. They resolved this by a minor pitch change for that section of roof. The other issue was with venting the soffits where they found much more work was required than they first thought. There was an additional charge for the material to do the pitch change, but no charge for the additional labor. Very cool!
The entire job was completed within two days, which was exactly how long they told me it would take. This was important as I took time off from work to be there while they worked on it.
I'm a real stickler for cleanup and Hartman didn't let me down in this area at all. The workers all made sure that the place was spotless. They used tarps and plywood to cover the building and ground surrounding the areas they were working on. Once they completed an area everything was picked up, raked and then a magnet was used to retrieve any nails left behind. 
All in all I was very happy with their work, so much so that I called them back for an estimate on another job.

We were at work, but the results look great.  The area was left clean from debris and there was no damage.  The neighbors stated the work was done well and had no complaints about the behavior of the crew.

Hartman Roofing & Maintenance came out and gave an estimate to replace me roof. came earlier then first anticipated cleaned up well afterwards got it all completed in one day. They were professional, courteous. and neat. Would use in the future.

We recently purchased a summer home which needed some roofing work. Not being from the area we were a bit nervous about this.
After calling for an estimate Al showed up the next day and was very thorough. He got up on the roof and explained what was on the
roof now and the expected life span and what needed to be replaced. After writing up a very  detailed estimate he sat down with us
and explained in detail every aspect of the job. Included was what they would do to prep the roof, materials to be used, color, etc. He
explained some of the siding would have to be removed to install roof but it would be replaced as it was before. He explained the
warranty and explained price included all applicable taxes, fees, and removal of debris. We told him when we would be back up to
our home and asked if they could do the work in that week time frame and he assured us he would do his best to schedule it then.
We contacted them before we headed back up there and were told when to expect them. They showed up when expected and got
the job done. Al said it would be done in one day and it  was. The workers were very professional, courteous, polite, and down right
friendly. Very easy to work with. Overall we were very pleased with Hartman and would highly recommend them.

Hartman Roofing and Maintenance Inc did a really good job. They cleaned up after themselves too. They put the original roof on 10 years ago. It was warrantied for 20 years but there was a manufacturing defect in the shingles. Hartman honored their warranty and their work was good. The warranty for the Shingles was held by the manufacturer which caused some discussion, but the roof is great. Their responsiveness was great, they checked the roof and were fixing it the next week.

I started calling around for estimates and Al Peters with Hartman was able to provide all insurance and licensing information.  He came out to do the estimate and was able to provide one on the spot as he had a computer and printer in his truck.  They were very professional.  They covered the ground around your home, placed plywood around the house so nothing would hit the vinyl siding, they cleaned up with magnets to make sure all nails were cleaned up and were able to complete the job within one day.
