They did not think to check if the cabinets were level. 5 months after install, we have a 6-1/4” crack on an inside corner. When he came out to look at it he said it’s jusr a fissure and normal, so I put a level on it and noticed it is 1/2” out of level right where the crack starts. When I sent him the pictures showing the level and how off it was, he called me and said it’s normal. I said this cannot be normal and asked if they do any leveling before install? He said no, never. He stated that in the 22 years he’s been in business, they have always used “line the cabinets”. I eventually told him he can either replace it or refund it and he arrogantly laughed and thought my 2000$ wasted was a joke. When I told him I’d post the pictures with his business card online he said he would send his guys out to level my countertops, but there’s nothing he would do for the crack itself, and if he saw any bad reviews online he would not even level them to prevent further damage. On top of ther crack, there is a crack from the edge inside the sink, to the hole he drilled for the faucet, which he also said is nothing. This guy has no business installing countertops. They literally lay them, caulk them, and then you’re on your own. They don’t even seal them, so any water or liquid you leave on the countertops soaks in and takes a day to dry! Do not waste your time or money on this guy!
