Dockside Supply Com

my neighbor actually hired dockside to install a shared dock. i walked down to the lake when they were beginning installation and indicated the posts needed to be augered into the lakebed 2-3 feet to keep the dock stable. i have installed this dock many times and use  a post ratchet with a pipe extension on it to get the needed depth. they were using an 18" metal rod.mu grandson and i went to a neighbors dock as he wanted to wade in the water. during this time, one of workers decided he could tell how deep the posts needed to be and proceeded to install posts about 18" into the lakebed. the language my grandson heard was very offensive. within one month of installation, the dock looked like a rollercoaster. some of the post brackets had not been securly fastened. some of the posts had loosened and sections were coming apart. my son and i took apart 3-4 sections and put the posts down farther to make the dock stable and safe again.
i have no idea what they charged for this service.
