Description of Work: They installed pre finished hardwood flooring and did an interior foyer den.

Description of Work: Sanded and refinished white oak floor. Very nice workers. They worked us into their schedule for our small one bedroom job (less than their $500 minimum which we paid). We had completely cleaned the room and floor to get every nail and tack out, however we missed two and they didn't remove them. I could see a line where poly sealant looked like it stopped halfway across the floor. Looks fine with furniture and rugs in the room. Only real disappointment was the dust left on all the freshly painted walls ... disappointed they didn't tell me to expect that or to wipe them down BEFORE we moved in furniture and noticed the dusty walls.

Description of Work: Tim got the job done with subpar results. His guys are very friendly and took the time to custom mix a color for me. Unfortunately the polyurethane that goes on as the final layer was less than impressive. I don't know if the wood was not properly cleaned before applying the final coat or if the product was too thick but there are small bubbles all over the floor I attached a picture for reference. Also I had little beads of stain coming up from the seams for weeks after the refinishing that ruined many pairs of socks. Online researched told me this is because they applied the poly finish before the stain was fully dry. Finally one of the edges in my kitchen it looks like they sanded a little too much because there's a indentation from the sander that has now become a permanent fixture of my floor. With that being said I consider myself to be pickier than probably the average person. Guests who come over don't notice these things unless pointed out.

Description of Work: I had 3 rooms of wood floors sanded and refinished with stain.

Description of Work: Tim Murphy and his crew Sanded, repaired, and clear coated the living room, hallway and two small bedrooms.

Description of Work: Completely Sanded existing floor and reapplied 2 coats of Polyurathane

Description of Work: Carpet, padding, tack strips and staples removed from living room and hall by owner to save money. Sanding was posponed till 3/22 for warmer weather. Murphy's crew masked over doors, and rough and finished sanding and stain coat on Monday, Tuesday, gouges were filled in with dark wood filler and first poly coat applied. Wednesday a light sanding and second coat of poly. Thursday, light sand and 3rd poly coat applied. Poly coats applied in the morning and we could walk on the floors in the evening. Oak moldings were added around fireplace harth and doorways to the kitchen. Owner installed painted 1/4 round moldings after poly job.

Description of Work: Tim refinished our floors before we moved in and he uses low voc products. The floors still look great a year later. We were on a tight schedule and he was able to fit the work in. Very reliable.
