They recommended spray for evergreens and explained what they were putting on them and how often. Maples are being girdled by roots and there is no solution at this point, but they told us how long they would survive.

.Westside Forestry Service has been caring for my trees and shrubs for 20 years. the plant care program over the years has included regular maintenance sprays of fungicide, dormant oil, and fertilizing. They also have sprayed for specific insect and disease problems as they have come up. I appreciate that they identify problems before there is a lot of damage. They also have responded quickly when I have seen problems as well. I also feel they are very conscientious about the chemicals they use and the impact that these materials have on the environment.

We did a walk through with one of the sales men and he never marked any of the trees that were to be removed.  This was a large wood and when the crew came out they didn't do the job correctly.  There were many trees that were removed that should not have been removed, lots of limbs were left lying or thrown further into the wood rather than being cleaned up as was specified in our contract.  I had to call 4 times to get the crew that works less than a mile down the road. Finally one guy came out but couldn't do the clean up on his own.

Had a ferocious storm blow through our subdivision in August. The top of our Sycamore broke off. We needed to have the huge limb removed and the tree topped off. Called several tree companies. Westside was the only company that had a crew out to survey the damage and give me an estimate within minutes. I would and will definitely use them again.

I started with them last summer in June and I have used them quite a few times. I signed a contract for spraying our fir trees. The first time they came was four years ago to cut down three huge black walnut trees and the cost was $5,000. The service was fine. It was a very tricky difficult job on a hill and they were very careful with my property, which I appreciated. They are doing simple stuff now like spraying the trees. Last June 2010 I had them trim trees and they found bees in the trees and they took care of that problem but I didn't feel that they did a good job of the initial contract of cleaning up the trees. When I called to ask them to come out to look at the job to tell me why it wasn't completed, he never came out. I was quite unhappy with his customer service on that one particular isolated job of trimming the trees. I did have them come back to spray the trees. I don't know if I would have them come back for cleaning up the trees. We live on the edge of a forest. I will give them the benefit of  the doubt.

They come out on regular basis to service my trees.  We get them scheduled for different trees because the schedule is different for pine trees and flowering trees.  I've been dealing with them for twenty years.
