We practically lived there for the last past five years or so or maybe a little more than that. Everybody is always very helpful and work with you. They do set up appointments and if you cannot make it when you need to, they will stay later for you. We just go there a lot. In fairness, they are close to us. They are great. They are all very professional. Everyone stops and tries to help you in any way that they can.

My overall experience with them was fine. We just pick up products from them; we have not had anything done from them yet.

They are excellent.

I received contradictory and misleading information from company representatives at Home Depot's Installation Services. Our signed contract could not be relied upon. Home Depot's Customer Service personnel initially appeared as if they would be helpful but in the end they referred me back to the same unreliable Installation Services personnel at Home Depot. Working with Home Depot's Installation Services proved to be a very frustrating waste of time and effort.

I had Home Depot's installation company, Ultimate Installations, come out to give me an estimate on a backyard privacy fence. Couldn't get them scheduled to come out for three weeks, then when they did they saw that my project was not that big (profitable?) so they gave me and incredibly expensive estimate with no explanation of how they got to that estimate. They told me to call Home Depot for the breakdown. Did not offer any alternate fencing or quotes. Very frustrating

I spent a lot of time with them and they sent people out to my home and said they could do the work. Last minute they decided that since my project included a door that was not part of my main home but on a structure on the exterior of my residence, they wouldn't do it. I had to hire someone else and it was a total a waste time.

I hire some wonderful contractors who have done an excellent job!

They were flexible on their schedule and were able to move up the date for me. They explained everything to me.

The service was just average. He didn't do any nice finish work. It was just basic. We have an old commercial building and people think that we don't really care. We actually really care what it looks like. It wasn't really great. I don't think that I would use them again.

They weren't the cheapest, but they were certainly competitive. One reason we used them was the lifetime warranty. We had them back to take care of an issue, and they were responsive. They were on time.

On October 16, 2010, they installed the installation. The crew was extremely professional, friendly, and thorough, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. They did all this withing the promised time frame, and we would definitely use Home Depot again for other services. The overall experience was even better than expected!

I have been to other places but I did not like the way others treated me. I had been to Home Depot thrice where the guy there spent a lot of time with me and he helped me design my kitchen. He gave me the designs so that I can take it home to look at it and make my decision but the other places I went to did not give me the designs as though I would cheat them. They came home to measure the kitchen for a small price where it would be used to buy the covers if I decided to go ahead with them. They design the kitchen after taking professional measurements. I got a good design and they were willing to work with me. They gave me a discount and I got a free sink cabinet. They did not pressurize me and I ended up buying the dishwasher from them.

All parts were custom-ordered, except for hardware, so there was some delay at the start due to a shut-down at the factory for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were called promptly by the installer, when the doors arrived. When the storms failed to show up on their computer, and after calls to Home Depot to locate the problem, we finally made a trip back to the store. It was then we discovered the storm doors were in, but it had somehow been assumed we were installing them. After paying an additional installation fee, we were able to get the doors installed nearly 6 weeks after ordering. The installers were great! They had never installed the type of sill we ordered, yet did it quickly. The two of them had the job completed in one day. We are very pleased with the results. The installation was airtight and the rooms were much warmer this winter. The trim work was well done. This installation took place in the chill of December ('07), so it makes the work done doubly appreciated.

They did a horrible job. My 11 year old son could have done a better job. We had them come back twice to fix the rippling from the poor installation. The carpet still rippled and the store manager told us that we were on our own and to take a hike. I reported them to the BBB.

Process is very slow. The contractor used by Home Depot (Chnynoweth Construction) is very difficult to to contact. Work orders for their sub-contractors were usually incorrect. Actual work performed by the crafts people was good.

THEY HIRED A COMPANY TO COME OUT AND INSTALL IT. THEY HAD A FEW MINOR PROBLEMS, BUT HOME DEPOT WAS EXTREMELY ON TOP OF IT AND SOLVED ALL THE HEADACHES. THEY MADE SURE THE COMPANY FIXED EVERYTHING AND MADE US HAPPY. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR THE JOB.

Very poorly. We purchased carpet in 2004 and they hired Ultimate Flooring in Livonia to install. A new employee to Ultimate Flooring installed the carpet in January and because the carpet was in their truck parked outside over night it caused the carpet to be very rigid to install. After a few months it caused the carpet to ripple both in our upstairs hallway and our bedroom. Ultimate Flooring came out twice to fix it and yet again the hallway is rippled. Home Depot's store manager, Pace Nielson, refuses to have it corrected again. We'll have to go to a carpet installer we choose and pay to have it stretched yet again. The bottom line- if Home Depot/Ultimate Flooring stands behind their work and either does it right the first time or fixes it until it's done right, we'd avoid this hassle every few months.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF INSTALLING THE LAMINATE FLOORING. IT LOOKS GREAT AND IS HOLDING UP VERY NICELY. THERE WERE TWO GUYS WORKING ON THE PROJECT, SO THEY GOT IT DONE IN A FAIRLY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.

I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT HOME DEPOT SUBCONTRACTS ITS INSTALLATION SERVICES. THE PLUMBER THAT CAME OUT DID A FINE JOB INSTALLING THE NEW WATER HEATER, BUT FAILED TO ADEQUATELY DRAIN THE OLD WATER HEATER BEFORE HE ATTEMPTED TO REMOVE IT FROM THE HOUSE. THIS RESULTED IN A LOT OF WATER TRAILING UP THE STEPS AND ACROSS THE FLOOR. IN THE FUTURE, I WOULD PROBABLY BUY THE WATER HEATER MYSELF AND HIRE A PLUMBING COMPANY TO INSTALL IT.
