Nearly 100 years later, his grandson, Alan P Wood, like his father Dan Wood, continues the tradition of service excellence. Dan Wood plumbing and heating services is a third generation full service co that serves the tri-county area seven days a week. Our operations provide complete plumbing and mechanical services. Organization - Dan Wood Plumbing and Heating Services inc. Serves the tri-county area. Our facility offers customer service representatives to handle and schedule your calls, our bookkeeper provides efficient daily billing, sales and service estimators are available to change out applications and assist in any design our customers need assistance with and managers to make sure all customers needs are met. In addition to our support staff we offer our customers an experienced, clean, professional staff of licensed and skilled plumbing, heating, cooling and drain service technicians and installers. We are always available to meet our customer’s needs. Service center office hours are 7:30 AM-5:30 PM Mon through Fri. We are available for service beyond these hours and on Saturday and Sunday by using the after hours pager system. We have used Dan Wood Plumbing and Heating since we purchased our home in 2012. These folks are a pleasure to work with and the quality of their bi-annual inspections and any repairs required are outstanding. For our last inspection on Thursday, May 17, Joe (who has performed all our previous inspections) arrived promptly at 8AM, performed a thorough inspection and evaluation of both our 2 furnaces and air conditioners and replaced the filters for both of our high efficiency air cleaners. The quality of work performed is excellent as usual. We recommend Dan Wood Plumbing and Heating to anyone requiring quality HVAC inspections and repairs. These folks continue to do good work!

Great job, very nice technicians. It took a bit over an hour to diagnose the problem and clean the drain. There was a 50.00 first time customer coupon available. The coupon reduced the cost considerably.

They came on time but the location of the leak behind the wall was not found yet. Had to wait for a carpenter to cut a hole in wall. The plumber left during this time but still charged a fee for coming out and the time spent before deciding to leave. No work done during this time. Had to reschedule for someone new to come out after hole was cut, but was going to get charged a second time for sending someone out. Was able to get this charge waived after explaining the situation. The plumber's work was done fast and professionally. The fix is good but the charges caught us off-guard as they were not explained clearly when setting up the first appointment.

We talked with several companies and got bids from 3. Dan Wood was second lowest and offered a more credible leading furnace / AC manufacturer than the low bidder (the low bidder offered equipment from Coleman, which didn't seem to be a competitive choice from our internet / Consumer Reports research). For a couple hundred more, we chose Dan Wood and their offerings from Carrier. They showed up on time and completed the work in the two days they had estimated. Everything went well and we have had no problems. They were flexible in "re-using" our already existing humidifier and Nest thermostat. They were careful in their clean-up afterward. The total cost (after manufacturer and utility rebates) was $6,700.

Due to the nature of the leak and damage, multiple trips were required. It was NOT a pleasant job! Ryan never complained and did everything perfectly, cleaned up completely, always on time, etc.

Called them at 6:45 AM and they were at my house by 8:15 to make the necessary repairs to the furnace.  The technician replaced the ignition coil, showing me the old part indicating where and why if failed.  He didn't have the exact replacement part on his truck but rather than trying to make what he had work, he made a quick trip to a parts store a few blocks away and got the exact replacement ignition coil needed.  He then finished up by performing a thorough job of making sure that was the only problem.

Dan Wood was very responsive in arriving on site to look at the project.  The project was much more involved than they originally thought, so we set up a half day appointment at a later date.  Adam was the Tech who worked on our project.  He had to remove dry wall on other side of bathroom, disassemble then solder together new shutoffs and new piping to replace the valve in very tight space.  Adam was taking calls while he was working on our project, but did a good job with the project.  Overall we were very happy with the project.

I have used Dan Wood Plumbing and Heating for installation of new water heaters, a new furnace and a new air conditioner in two previous condominium homes and purchased a yearly service contract for my current home heating and cooling system as a result of the excellent service experience. For this visit, my air conditioning system (consisting of two air conditioners) was inspected, cleaned and evaluated. All work was performed June 2 as scheduled. Tecnician Mark also recommended that each air conditioner compressor capacitor be replaced and that work is scheduled for June 27. I recommend Dan Wood Plumbing and Heating based on my continued excellent service experience for any of your home heating, cooling and plumbing systems.

I have been using them over several years. I used those folks for stuff like plugged up drains, sewer cleaning, I have some bathrooms remodeled and I thought it would be prudent to have the drains cleaned out before they did that and they did that. I also have them install a second water meter. At the same they also installed a whole house water filter system. They are good people. I had them I think last year late summer. The approximate cost of that particular service was about $400. I had plugged up drains between two bathrooms jointly service and they had to go onto the outside clean out and work all the way back and they going down the crawl space so it's a challenge because some crawl spaces you could even stand up and mine you want to get from the front of the house and back at the house you literally on your hands and knees not much move down there. I recommend using them. I have been using them for over a decade. They get the job done. They are generally available in a reasonable period of time. The price that they charge are competitive.
