The service was performed in an excellent manner. Old, peeling paint was stripped in a very safe manner. High quality paint was used and painting was finished before the promised date. The work was done very accurately, and all the surroundings were protected very well so nothing got stained or damaged. All the cleanup was done promptly and no trace of any debris was left behind. Even though the building is old, it looks very good inside and out. Alex's Painting LLC also advised us on paint colors and shades to make sure colors complemented each other. Before we hired Alex's Painting LLC we obtained other quotes. Alex's Painting LLC provided better quality paint than other companies wanted to use and offered us better pricing. Overall Alex's Painting LLC has done a fantastic job.

Alex showed up with his crew of workers on time for the first day and immediately began work. They dedicated an entire day to just tooling, patching, and preparing the walls for paint. I felt this attention to detail is something I have not seen from many companies I have dealt with in the past. They worked methodically throughout the house using 2 coats of high quality paint leaving no spots or inconsistencies. Alex also offered to stain a wood door I had long since put off and made it look amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone, they had all the right tools for the job including a 2 story scaffolding to ensure the delicate trim work in my ceiling was done in pristine fashion. This meant the world to me as a lot of previous painters quotes tried to assure me that a ladder would suffice. This paired with having a courteous hard-working staff and their amazing attention to detail is what won me over. I've turned down a lot of fast money cheap quotes for Alex's very fairly priced bid and in the end the decision for quality over cost truly paid off.

After a phone call, Alex was came to my house to provide an estimate within a couple of days.   Alex and his sons do all or most of the work.  I was at work or out of town during much of the repair work and painting.

Alex and I walked around the house during the estimate and identified areas where trim boards were cupped, warped or rotted and needed to be replaced.  We agreed that 2 coats of paint would be best.

The estimate was in the middle range of the estimates I received.

Our gutters were ready to be replaced and in a couple of areas the wood had rotted behind the gutters and those fascia boards needed to be replaced.    Since we planned to replace gutters, we asked Alex to remove the all gutters.  

Alex and his sons replaced several trim boards at the corners of the house or above the wood siding.   My house has several square pillars on the front porch, two of which had deteriorated and these were repaired and boxed at the bottom.

The house was caulked and two coats of paint applied.  The final job was well done and my wife and I were very satisfied.  They made sure everything was cleaned up after they completed the work.   The work was neat and the quality was very good.   Alex was pleasant and knowledgeable.   We would recommend Alex's Painting.

They did a great job on our home, inside and out. Overall things went very well. Starting with the quote process: Very professional.  On the work day,  Alex and his crew showed up on-time and prepared to do the job.  After power-washing, they show me areas in the deck that would need to be repaired prior to painting.  The crew was very clean and even brought mulch to cover the areas where paint particles had landed during the preparation process.  The crew showed much attention to detail and the deck looks great.  Would (and have) definitely recommend Alex for your painting needs.
