Repurpose Estate Sales

I had referred my Mom to contact this company in regards to setting up
a combined estate sale of the contents of 2 homes of deceased relatives. After
completing the online contact form, she was promptly contacted by Cari,
the owner. Cari was out of the country but scheduled an appointment with
my Mom for 4 weeks out when she'd be back in the country. My Mom called
several times the day before the agreed upon appointment date to confirm that it was
still on for that date, no time had been specified at the point of the
original call and it was left as such that someone would be in contact with my Mom closer to the appointment date regarding a time. No one was answering the phone that Tuesday, she tried calling and left a couple messages. Mom got a
call the next day from Cari's husband, and they arranged a time to meet.
He viewed the contents, reviewed the terms of a potential contract and
said that Cari would be in touch to follow up about the appointment. The appointment was almost 4 weeks ago and we have not heard back. We were successful in contacting a different company and will be having the sale with them in the next month. I'm not sure where the breakdown in the communication happened but it's been very disappointing because the owner of this company really seems to know her stuff and did have a good reputation. We would've liked to have work with her but it's just not been a very good experience with the lack of follow through on the communication.

My husband and I have recently purchased a new home and decided to sell much of our furniture and household items that we will not use or want to use in our new home. We hired RePurpose Estate Sales to come into our home and organize and execute an estate sale. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome. Edna and Lynette spent time with me going over all the items I wanted to sell, and were available for the exact dates and timeline I needed to get it done. They came into my home, set everything up to display, researched appropriate price values for unique items and antiques, and priced everything. My home looked like a retail showroom! They took dozens of pictures of my sale items and placed them on multiple estate sale websites and sent specific emails to and quot;buyersand quot; whom they know are looking for specific items. On the days of the sale they arrived early, placed signs along the routes to my home, ran the sale and left my home as neat as when they had arrived. The best part was that once the sale was over, they placed some of the more valuable items that had not sold on Craigslist, and fielded those calls and continued to sell some of my items in the days following the actual sale!
There is no way I could have managed to do any of what they did for me on my own. They priced items higher than I would have for a typical garage sale, and were motivated to obtain the highest price for everything they sold, as they took a commission of the overall sale that I felt was more than fair and appropriate for the work they put into it. They even had recommendations for which charities to call to come pick up all that was left; they know which ones accept electronics, furniture, etc.
Edna, Lynette, and Mark are genuinely nice, considerate people who were fun to work with and yet very professional. It was a great experience from start to finish. And now I have a lot of money to spend on new things for our new home!!
