Ampro Insulation

They were amazing! The checked my home for air leaks, which I expected, but then they sealed all the leaks, which I had not expected. 2 rooms of my home were almost too cold to use before they came and both are toasty in the winter now! I am beyond satisfied with the work done and the price was far below my other quotes.

Ampro Insulation were really good. I had had three other quotes from various providers. When I talked to them, I did have questions and asked the right ones. He answered all my questions, and when he had finished with all of that, I had almost decided not to hire him because he did not have a particular gadget to do the measurement with. To my amazement, he had the same dimensions that the other people had. He quoted me a lower cost, and then he offered me a discount. I was surprised when his people told me that I had insulation already. Then when the gentleman came back to the house for payment, he told me that he had to adjust that because his people told him how much they had done, and the price was a couple of hundred dollars less than he had quoted. He was very honest about it. He also told me that when his company had done the work it would look like they had never been there. And he was right, it didn't. They were very thorough in their work and their cleanup. I called them after that and asked him if he could put some curtain rods up for me, and he did!

I was impressed by Ampro Construction & Weatherization. I scheduled an appointment.
They called the morning of the appt. to let me know the time they would arrive. Set up was brief and the work began.
 I have a Colonial and access to the attic is with a ladder. A lot of debris, wood chips, (new roof 5 yrs. ago) dust, and old insulation, ( about 30yrs. old)  fell down once that trap door was opened. I was aware of the insulation in the attic, but not aware of any other. They drilled the outside walls and they informed and showed me  the insulation found. The entire house was done with the exception of the insulation found. The job took 51/2 hours. Clean up after the job was impressive, inside and out. Really, you never would have known they were there.
Due to the existing insulation found in the walls the manager told me he had re-figured the cost." They only charge for what they do". The savings was $ 390.00.
I was impressed with their HONESTY, and I highly recommend this company.

I was recently serviced for home insulation, the same day I joined Angie's List. Their work was impressive, because I was very anxious about drilling holes in my home (outside walls). I had numerous questions during the estimate visit- all of which were answered. Their follow up was thorough, timely, well organized and the staff were respectful of me and my home. During the job, existing insulation was found in a couple of areas, and the job was re-figured. I appreciated the honesty and the final cost.
