We had purchased a 1925 Lyon & Healy baby grand piano from a garage sale 2 years ago and needed a yearly tune up. We knew that the piano wasn't in the best of shape but it tuned up okay last year when we had it done by someone else (the other person, being an expert, said it wasn't fully tuned but to our amatuer ears we couldn't tell). Knight came over right on time, looked at the piano for a little and said that he couldn't justify taking my money to tune up the piano since the pinblock was in need of repair and he stated that if we just did a tune up, it would go out of tune quickly since the pinblock was going. I really appreciated his honesty. He also gave us recommendations on what types of pianos to buy and offered his services if we wanted to try and buy a used piano for a garage sale again. I would definitely use him again once we decide to get a new piano.

He's extremely knowledgeable about pianos, expert in his field. Immediately returns calls. Prompt to the minute on his appointments. Very professional and personable.
