Had a written contract . Total Tree (who is one person who does not show up on time nor on day promised,) contract stated remove all debris, cut stump close to ground as possible, work to be completed by Sep. 21st 2009.His Words are useless! Do not believe anything you read on e-hardhat. He left thick pieces which were too large to cut into firewood although he was to TAKE alll debris, not just the portions he wanted to sell. He did NOT complete work, and work he did do wasn't done until October! Too small to take to small claims court, but I wish I had. A search on Michigan.gov at the time said he was not in good standing. Description of Work: Cut down 100 y.o. oak tree. Milled, planed, took best of wood to sell. Left huge piles of "rejected" wood, stumps, etc. Drove over neighbors lawn was never one time, work not done as contracted.
