Everything was done as explained in the time that was estimated. I’m very happy with the results and would use them again.

We are repeat customers. We used this company in the past to insulate our addition. This time they insulated our attic for the rest of the house with R60. The work was scheduled 8 days out from our quote. They arrived on time and did a great job. Very professional. Our contact was Curtis. And the house is now toasty.

I thought our electric bill was high, as we are using in excess of 1200 kwh a day with two people. After two days with proper insulation, our usage has dropped to 20kwh a day. Can't wait for summer to see the real payoff with a/c!
Description of Work: Attic was insulated to r60, kneewalls filled to r49, all exterior walls filled with cellulose.

They are useless. They didn't show up for their appointment that we had scheduled with them. The whole thing was unprofessional. He called after the appointment to tell us that he didn't know his boss had scheduled the appointment and he wanted to come right then and there. That wasn't going to happen so we booked it for the next Monday and by that time my husband and I decided that we would go with another company. We didn't even get a quote.

Kurt came out and went throughout the attic and house, as well as the exterior, and told us what would need to be done. We solicited additional quotes from other companies and ended up going elsewhere, but believe we would have been happy with Existing as well.
Description of Work: Kurt came out quickly after I'd called and gave us a quote. There was nothing wrong with his demeanor and I didn't doubt his service, but we ended up going through another company since they were able to re-open our gable vents without charging an additional fee though they were more expensive, they offered a police discount so in the end the price was the same. I do believe though that the smaller companies can do just as good of work and may not have the pricing flexibility that larger companies have so it's a catch 22. I would still recommend.

It went very well. A crew of three worked for one whole day to complete the job. They worked hard all day and were happy to answer any questions I had and explain what they were doing. It is a small company, and the owner works on every job and is there for the entire job. We are very happy with the result. Our house is much warmer now, especially the upstairs which used to be quite cold. We have good windows and had previously gotten more insulation in the attic, but insulating the walls still made a huge difference. You can't tell where they drilled the holes. They matched the mortar perfectly.
Description of Work: They insulated all of the exterior walls on our home. They also insulated the walls that adjoin our garage. We have a two story brick and aluminum colonial style home. It is approximately 2,200 sq. feet. They drilled holes in the mortar and under the aluminum siding and blew in cellulose insulation. Then, they replaced the mortar and dyed it to match the original. They removed strips of the aluminum siding, drilled holes, and then plugged them and replaced the siding. About six weeks later, they came back with an infrared camera to check to see if they had missed any spots. They hadn't.

Description of Work: The owner came to the house to give me an estimate for insulating my walls and attic. He was friendly and professional. I walked with him both inside and outside the house. He pointed out the lack of ventilation in my roof and suggested I add some. He gave me an estimate of $2200.

The contractor showed up on time and immediately got to it. The owner and two workers were very businesslike and wasted no time. The owner occasionally checked the interior of the house as the work was being performed to make sure that no insulation was being blown within the living quarters. The job took approximately 4 hours to complete. This winter I must contact the owner so he can perform a thermographic scan of each wall, which will show if any wall cavity was not completely filled with insulation. The owner will then fill in any areas that were missed. Also, there is a lifetime warranty on materials and labor.
Description of Work: This company was hired to blow in cellulose insulation in the first floor exterior walls of a 1959 1000 square foot brick bungalow home. They drilled in the mortar every 16" or so and then blew in the insulation in every wall cavity on the first floor. They then filled the mortar holes with matching mortar. When dry, you could not find the holes!
