Gorham & Sons Nursery Inc

I visited the nursery location and consulted with one of the owners on what perennial plants and shrubs would best meet the needs for various locations in my flower beds. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to spend as much time as needed to help me make a decision. I actually purchased more than I intended just because it was such a nice experience and the assortment and quality of shrubs was excellent. He even loaded everything in my car for me.
This is my second time doing business with Gorham & Sons (I wrote another review last year) and again I am completely satisfied and pleased with the experience.

What a wonderful family owned company. Mr. Gorham was very friendly, informative, interesting during the tree selection process at the nursery. He was very responsive for the short time schedule we had for needing a tree to be delivered and planted due to the firing of 2 prior companies hired to clear roots from a prior tree, fill and level the land, plant a new tree, and lay new sod. We ended up having to hire separate companies for each step of the process and Gorham & Sons Nursery was able to provide the desired tree and planting service we needed at exactly the time we needed them to.
The Gorham sons delivered the tree at the time agreed but only to find that the hole was not quite ready as expected. However, they were accommodating due to the situation and agreed to come back later in the day when the hole for the tree would be root-free and ready for the planting of a new tree.
They came back when they said they would, planted the tree, filled the hole and staked the tree. They left a large bucket of mulch so that we could cover the dirt around the tree once the sod was lain.
What an enjoyable experience, especially given the horrific week we had just had in trying to get a landscaping job completed.
We look forward to doing business with them again next spring!
